Dynamic data-driven pages have become the basis of many cutting-edge Web sites. Early render systems can provide better performance and maintainability for data-driven Web sites by generating frequently accessed pages that contain less-volatile information ahead of time. We'll show you an example of a server-side solution that uses Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) to merge data and layout information into HTML that is compatible with just about any modern Web browser. For a report executed from Report Manager that has a bar chart component, regenerating the report via refresh or view with same input parameters either gives a different result that is garbled or an empty chart (2008) or no chart at all (2005). I have
the report set up to not do any caching, so that does not seem to be the issue. Is there some chart option I may need to set to get the proper chart display.
When I go to ANY database (System, AdventureWorks*, user) in Managemant Studio, I right-click on the db, select Reports, select Standard Reports, and select Disk Usage. The disk usage report shows the correct db on top, but always only shows AdventureWorks_Data.mdf
when I expand Disk Space Used by Data Files section. This happens to any db I try. When I look at Database Properties/Files for that database, the logical and physical file names are correct.
Since the correct files appear in Database Properties/Files, I'm hoping it's just a bug in the report. Same thing happens if I run a Disk Usage by Table report for ANY database, The tables for AdventureWorks always only appear,
