I have an issue with the Exchange calendar overlay functionality in Sharepoint 2010.
First of all I was surprised that shared calendars weren't supported out of the box, when using the EWS connection and a specific username/password combo to access the shared calendar wouldn't have been to difficult to add to the overlay system. Since I don't
have access to the source I haven't bothered to extend the functionality, but provide a custom synchronisation service to fix this for a client.
My issue now though is the current users overlayed calendar, all calendar items are appearing as "Busy" only, with no Title or Subjects visible. Is this a permissions issue? I cannot see any options relating to the current view or in the Calendar overlay
settings to chaneg the display format.
Has anyone come across this before??
