I've been having a very hard time to understand the best practices of how to set the size of my columns. I want them to be fixed (px or % it does not matter). Here is sample of my code:
<asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Job Created" SortExpression="created" ItemStyle-Wrap="false" ItemStyle-Width="100px">
<asp:Label ID="lblCreated" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("created") %>' />
<ItemStyle Width="100px" Wrap="False" />
As you can see there are different places you can set the Width and also the Wrap option.
<ItemStyle Width="100px"> seems to get the job done whereas ItemStyle-Width="100px" does nothing.
Can someone explain WHERE do you set those? What are those for? good documentation for that?
I was also setting trying another alternative such as :
protected void GridView1_RowDataBound(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
foreach (TableCell myCell in e.Row.Cells)
