Gradient colors in RS

Posted By:      Posted Date: October 19, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server

Dear All,

I was wondering if there is a way to have gradient colors in Reporting Services. I would like to achieve the effect of fading gradient style in the header of my table(s). I have heard that CSS could potentially be the way to achieve this, if so how?

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks

Autocomplete Colors

Hi,

I have a question about the colors of the text in the drop down list of Autocomplete box. I'm trying to categorize them into 2 differents colors. For example, the autocomplete box will display the list of soft drink in the store and the color will identify them as "sold out" or "available".

The data in my database is seperated into 2 columns. The first one is the names of the soft drink, and the second columns identify them as "sold out" or "available.

The autocomplete box was implemented in my website using page method. There is a function in the code behind page, calling data from the web services.

Please let me know if there is any suggestion, guideline or any reference link to the answer of my problems.

Thank you.

How to customise theme secondary colors?

Gridview not showing alternate colors

I am trying to make the colors different for every line, so lets say one line white and the next light grey. I tried it in the gridview using autoformatting direct formatting css formatting but it has no effect on the display! The lines are all white! Only formatting to work is the header formatting. Who can help? For CSS, I have<RowStyle CssClass="gridRow" /> <HeaderStyle CssClass="gridHeaderSort" /> <AlternatingRowStyle CssClass="gridAlternateRow" /> and .gridAlternateRow {  background-color: #DCDCDC; /*LightGrey*/  } .gridRow {   background-color: White; } .gridHeaderSort { background-color: #DCDCDC; color: Black; font-weight: bold; text-align: left; }   I tried with every option - without any effect. Visual Studio 2005, IE6. No change in the preview, no change when running. I tried with a font option for the row - this one is evaluated. I tried setting it programmatically - no change.

Chart bar with 3 colors ... red, yellow, green ... How?

Chart bar with 3 colors ... red, yellow, green In Excel 2010 you know we have the Conditional Formatting->Color Scales and then the first ones are red yellow and green. Well I would like my Bar chart to do the same. That is … I have the Bar chart … say in % … so the maximum would be 100% … say we divided this 100% in 3 parts, 3 colors, so that the red and yellow fading out borde will be around 33% and the yellow and green zone will be around 66%. Now … if my data says that one bar is only 25% … well the three colors shouldn’t be in that little bar … I would like to only red … as the border of 33% has not yet been reached. It’s hard to explain … but really the colors should be fixed by the maximum 100% and not by how long the bar will be and then try to fit in the colors in there. How do I do this? Kind Regardsjea

List of System Colors?

I want to have either a combobox, listbox, or even listview where the user can see the list of color options to choose from. Is there an way to get a list of the System Colors? I know how to use the the fonts to make a list of the fonts with <CollectionViewSource Source="{Binding Source={x:Static Fonts.SystemFontFamilies}}" x:Key="myFonts"/> I can't find one for Colors. So basically my question is is there a similar function for Colors? MY only other alternative is to manually set the list of colors.

Mutilple Colors to a String in a textbox

Exporting to PDF causes colors to bleed

I have a table with up to 30 columns that I turn visibility to hidden depending on a parameter.  For example if the parameter is 20 only columns 20 and below are shown.  Works a treat except when I export to a pdf and these grey spaces appear at the far right of the report.  The grey is the background color for the heading row and it bleeds down a column/s which would be to the right of the last column if it were shown.  Any ideas.

Page to Design a Football Shirt (eg with CSS colors) - C#

I am trying to work out the best way to have end users design thier own "avatar" football shirt.

For example:

They select type of shirt eg stripes, hoops etc

Then the colors eg black and white etc

Submit these details to a database

Then it generates the image on the fly from the database which stores "stripes" & "black,white"

Any ideas how to start this?

Issue with ImageButton Border Colors

I am running into an issue with dynamically setting the border color for ImageButtons sitting in 15x15 tablecells.

Here is the relevent code (I removed the code that is not)

    protected void ImageButton1_Click(object sender, CommandEventArgs e)
    {
        ImageButton bt = new ImageButton();
        // Reset the border for the last image button back to default
        ContentPlaceHolder MainContent = Page.Master.FindControl("MainContentArea") as ContentPlaceHolder;
        bt = MainContent.FindControl(Session["SelectedButton"].ToString()) as ImageButton;
        //bt.BorderColor = Color.FromName("#EFEAD7");
        button.BorderColor = Color.Beige;
        // Now set the border for the selected button to black
        bt = sender as ImageButton;
        bt.BorderColor = Color.Black;
        // Save the tile ID for later calls
        Session["SelectedButton"] = bt.ID;
    }

<Part of initial page load code>
    button.BorderWidth = 1;
    if (<condition is true>)
    {
         button.BorderColor = Color.Black;
         Session["SelectedButton"] = button.ID;
     }
    else
         //button.BorderColor = Color.FromName("#EFEAD7");
         button.BorderColor = Color.Beige;
