Flow Document text parsing to render XML documents with foreground color

I need to display some XML in a flow document in read-only mode. Would like to render it with the black, red and blue formatting based on the contents / keywords. I know you can set the foreground color with span elements.

Is there a way to achieve this in a object oriented / dynamic way ? Like you set the content of flow document/paragraph element and it automatically parses the text and sets the foreground color for specific keywords. I am thinking of starting a prototype project with the help of converters - not sure if it can give an extend-able model (for maybe T-SQL someday). May probably have to inherit from flow document and create a custom / user control.

Any thoughts, help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Print PDF Document from Web Form

I have to have a web form that allows the user to print a PDF Document from a web form or web service.  The requirements are that the user will not see the pdf before printing, the call to print will actually happen on the Web Server it's self, the web server does not have adobe, and the document has to print to a Network printer that the web server is not setup to print to.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Is there an alternative to the VB compatibility library and the default "print document" interface?

When I first converted a program from an older version of VB to
VB .Net, I used the printer compatibility library with good success.
It treated the printer as a device.  Print this, print that, start a new page,
and so on.  Recently, when adding the printing of graphics, I started running
into out of memory conditions.  I discovered that I could use the base
.Net print capabilites to resolve this problem for the graphic images.

If all I am printing is the graphic images, this is not too bad.
However, the application I have has a mix.  Print this form followed by
another form followed by a graphic  followed by another form.  Each form
and graphic could print on a single page or take multiple pages.  The default
.Net approach of a call back to get each page becomes extremely clumsy.
Each print routine needs to remember which page it is currently on between calls and the print distributing routine needs to keep track of what form is currently being printed.

Is there another printing interface available?

Q: How to print out background color in InfoPath 2007 browser form under MOSS form service?

Hi InfoPath experts,

I am trying to print out a custom InfoPath 2007 browser form using "Print View" function offered by MOSS Form Service. It seems like the all background color formats has been stripped out when printed out. Interestingly, only font colors are remain the same in printed-out.
Is there a way to fix this issue? I know you can change the settings: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/infopath-help/print-background-colors-and-pictures-HP001095710.aspx , but it only applies for InfoPath Client Form, not browser-based Form!

Any help are appreciated!

Working with SharePoint document libraries

Document libraries are collections of files that you can share with team members on a Web based on Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. For example, you can create a library of common documents for a project, and team members can use their Web browsers to find the files, read them, and make comments. Users with Microsoft Office 2003 can check out and edit the files as if they resided on a local or network drive.

By default, your team Web site comes with a built-in document library named Shared Documents, which is listed on the Quick Launch bar as well as on the Documents and Lists page.

jQuery $(document).ready() and ASP.NET Ajax asynchronous postback

Many call it the ASP.NET jQuery postback problem, but using the technique below should make it no problem anymore. $(document).ready() isn't called after an asynchronous postback. What this means? You lose the functionality that should be executed within $(document).ready() after an UpdatePanel rendered its contents after an asynchronous postback.

SharePoint Document Workspaces for Developers

Office 2003 is being released this month, and a cast of supporting applications is already available. One of these is Windows SharePoint Services 2.0, the free team add-on for Windows Server 2003. If you're not familiar with SharePoint Services basics, take a look at What Developers Need to Know About Windows SharePoint Services. In this article, I'm going to drill into one key place where SharePoint and Office 2003 overlap: document workspaces

Upload a File to a SharePoint Document Library - Part I

The following helper class demonstrates a few techniques that allow documents to be uploaded to a SharePoint document library programmatically without using the API or a custom web service. You don't need to specify a document library name, and it will create any folders specified in the URL as required. File meta data will be updated if any properties are passed.

SharePoint document migration challenges when migrating files and folders

There are several challenges when migrating documents to Microsoft SharePoint. While these challenges can be overcome, they are a real pain if the migration source, content and file systems are not SharePoint friendly.

Download and Share Visual Studio Color Schemes

The good news is that Visual Studio allows you to completely customize the editor background and text colors to whatever you want - allowing you to tweak them to create the experience that is "just right" for your eyes and personality. You can then optionally export/import your color scheme preferences to an XML file via the Tools->Import and Export Settings menu command.

Ajax Tab: Each TabPanel with different Color

I have situation like, Each tab panel should display with different colors based on the status. Example:

Completed tabs should display in "Green"

Inprogress status tabs should display in "Red"

Not eligible status tabs should display in "Gray".

Ajax Tab look and feel is very good. So, thought of using the Ajax Tab for my above requirement. I tried to change it. But I am not able to change the color of the each tab.

Is it possible to change the color of each tab in Ajax Tab control? Pleas help me.

If not possible, please suggest any other tab controls to achieve above my requirement.

Note:I already tried with IE tab controls, since it provides me that flexibility to change the color of the each tab. But, It is crashing my browswer. I am not sure about the reason.

I tried Jquery option, since I need to change the tab status dynamically based on the selection made in that same page, I am not able to achieve this one in the JQuery.
