I have a WCF service that is hosted inside a windows service that is the data provider to 150+ mobile devices and occationally I get error messages like "The operation has timed-out." or "Unable to connect to the remote server". After
implementing tracing it does show me the underlying WCF errors such as "An operation was attempted on a nonexistent network connection" or "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request" and
the associated process time is over 2 minutes.
From looking through the trace these failures seem random as the requests around it take no more than 300 milliseconds. What I am trying to understand is why these random failures occur during the thousands of other requests.
