Our school needs online web forms from our public web site (hosted elsewhere) to be sent to our SharePoint 2010 Enterprise internal site. Once received by SharePoint, we want these forms to trigger workflows.
Is it possible to have the form submitted by email (from the public internet web site), emailed directly to the internal 2010 SharePoint site - or do I have to have the forms emailed to a secretary and then have her upload the forms to the internal SharePoint
site, thus triggering the workflow?
I don't necessarily need SharePoint to read the form and take the data from the form and enter it into a list - I'll be happy if the emailed form just gets put in a Forms Library, where it can trigger a workflow just by being added to the library.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
