Posted By:      Posted Date: October 18, 2010    Points: 0   Category :SharePoint

Hi

I install vs2010 first in my system , and i used vs2010 to build one solution create by vs 2008 which was build and run very well, but there are some error. and days  later, i install vs 2008, try to rebuilt it using vs 2008, but it warms that System.Xaml was missing, I can only find a image in the folder of framework 4.0, and can't find one in the folder 3.5. I try to add reference path of 4.0 to projects, but just got more warns and the solution can be built through.

How can solve this issue?

Thanks~

Are You in the Know?: Find Out What's New with Code Access Security in the .NET Framework 2.0

Unlike role-based security measures, code access security is not based on user identity. Instead, it is based on the identity of the code that is running, including information such as where the code came from. Here Mike Downen discusses the role of code access security (CAS) in .NET and outlines some key new features and changes in CAS for the .NET Framework 2.0.

Framework 4.0 dll loaded by a 2.0 executable cannot find "xxxx.resources.dll"

 Hello, I have an interesting situation here that I was hoping someone may be able to give some pointers on.  First my application is all provided within a class library assembly so that it can be loaded by multiple hosts.  We are investigating moving to Visual Studio 2010 and the .Net Framework 4.0 for some of the new features.  However, one of our hosts is a 2.0 click once application that we do not have the source to.  I've tried modifying the config file for the executable to add the useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy with the 4.0 as the supported runtime and setting loadFromRemoteSources as suggested by a Google search and that came close to working.  However, depending on the workflow through our client code is giving a System.IO.FileNotFoundException for various references. The message associated with the exception is Could not load file or assembly 'file:///XXXXXX.resources.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."  Were the XXXXX changes and the .dll may or may not be present depending on whether Assembly.Load or Assembly.LoadFrom was used to perform the load.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. [Addition: I forgot to mention that our app originally targeted Framework 3.5SP1] Michael Fischer

The system cannot find the path specified

I want to run an external command from my c# program and this is how I am running it, but getting the error: "The system cannot find the path specified".Please check my code and debugging details copied below and suggest what I need to fix. Thank You. string MappingCommand = MappingCommandPath + "Mapping.exe /FileName " + HL7FileServerIn + FName;       Process p = Process.Start(MappingCommand);On the debugger I get MappingCommand as: "\\\\csi-myserv-dkv\\DKV\\Projects\\CSIAccessioning\\Altova\\Mapping\\bin\\Debug\\Mapping.exe /FileName C:\\Orders\\ORM2.hl7"    On command prompt when I copy past the above MappingCommand and remove the escape sequences, the following command runs fine.\\csi-myserv-dkv\DKV\Projects\CSIAccessioning\Altova\Mapping\bin\Debug\Mapping.exe /FileName C:\Orders\ORM2.hl7Your help is highly appreciated.

Can't find System.Printing

Hello, I just installed the trial version of Visual C# 2008 Express Edition with SP1 and the Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework. I have created a new project (console application) and need to use System.Printing in my project to access the print queue on my machine. However, System.Printing seems to be missing from my installation since I cannot see it in the drop down box that appears immediately after I type in 'System.' in the source file. Do I need some special project setting to include System.Printing? Am I missing something from my installation? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Anuj

Cannot find a token authenticator for the 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.X509SecurityToken' token ty

I have a Java service running on WebSphere Application Server 7.0.  When I invoke the service using my WCF client, I get a 200 OK back in the trace, however my WCF client cannot process the signature in the response message.  I am getting the following error: Cannot find a token authenticator for the 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.X509SecurityToken' token type. Tokens of that type cannot be accepted according to current security settings. I have tried setting allowSerializedSigningTokenOnReply="True" in my security binding as multiple forums had suggested.  However, I seem to be getting the same error.  Is there anything else I'm missing? Here is the response I am receiving from my Java service: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Sat, 18 Sep 2010 18:57:26 GMT Server: WebSphere Application Server/7.0 Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Language: en-US Content-Length: 3914 <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:wsa="http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing"> <soapenv:Header> <wsse:Security soapenv:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-2

Event ID 7000 - The system cannot find the path specified.

This is a very old prolem that i am getting to. First off I went through anywhere from 4 to 6 or more sessions with a Microsoft TECH and it even escalated a couple of levels of TECH support to boot. I can't remember the details specifically. I do know that I've started with gound up (installed/uninstalled NET Framework versions) installs to where I have all the versions installed. The Service doesn't start either automatically nor manual. I tried the patience of the Support people to fix this last error at that time.

I am starting anew to get the NET Framework Service to work properly . I hope I am in the right support forum.

Thanks

Unhandled exception in XAML editor from control that accesses database. - "System.Data.SqlServerCe.S

Hello,

Im having a bit of difficulty with some WPF/C#/SQL Server CE code.

I have a WPF User Control with the following line of code in the constructor:

MyDatabase database = new
 MyDatabase("Data Source=|DataDirectory|\\MyDatabase.sdf"
 );

where MyDatabase is a class generated using SQLMetal.exe from MyDatabase.sdf.

When I added this control to other controls, the application runs fine and I'm able to access my database. When I try to edit these parent controls,  the XAML editor throws the following error:

>System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeException
>The database file cannot be found. Check the path to the database. [ Data Source = D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\MyDatabase.sdf ]

Why does the XAML editor redirect my DataDirectory to "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\" and why does the XAML editor execute my database access code?

How can I fix this so I can use this control in a XAML editor?

Thanks,

Greg S.

Where can I find Javascript .NET Framework Reference?

I have been Googling for hours to find a reference to methods and properties in Objects in the .NET framework using Javascript in ASP.

I can see from examples that properties are not spelled the same when accesing from C# in code behind and in Javascript. And it seems like the avaiable methods and events are not the same in C# and Javascript.

Does any one know where I can find such a reference?

Thank you!

Kasper

System.InvalidOperationException: Internal .Net Framework Data Provider error 12.

Hi,

I have created an application in which there are few forms. Each form has fields which are linked to a backend table/tables. My application is supposed to be accessed by multiple users concurrently. I ran a test where I created a class file in windows application and i ran a for loop in it to call the url of my application. I wanted to test the effect of firing around 200 queries to my query engine.

The test code is :

namespace MachineGun

{

static class Program

{

/// <summary>

/// The main entry point for the application.

/// </summary>
