I created a blog site. Can I set up a workflow process for when a comment is created. The comment MUST be approved/declined before it is posted. Is this possible via the front end?
I wrote a custom webpart to display the comments made on any post of blog (eg: <blog>/List/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=3)
Now two things:
1. Comments list does not have any post-Id, It has post-title with Lookup type. which stores complete title of post which this comment blongs to. While in URL i am getting Post ID. How may i filter the comments ?
2. How may i check that if logged in user has Admin rights ? Because I want to display "Edit" with each comment if logged in user has Admin rights.
Thanks in advance.
I need to create a system, that will be similar to ms word style comments. So the idea is the following: on the page there are a pack of text boxes labels and so on, and user need have the way to comment each control, and save commented text, for example to DB, so the others can reed comments too.
I tried PopUpControlExtender, but it works in single way, and i cannot view all the popups in one time. Or may be i missed something and there is a way to popup all the controls at one time?
Therefore, are there any known solutions for a discribed task, based on PopUpControlExtender or something else?

C# allows developers to embed XML comments into their source files-a useful facility, especially when more than one programmer is working on the same code. The C# parser can expand these XML tags to provide additional information and export them to an external document for further processing. This article shows how to use XML comments and explains the relevant tags. The author demonstrates how to set up your project to export your XML comments into convenient documentation for the benefit of other developers. He also shows how to use comments to generate help files.
