I'm trying to create a report using Report builder of a sharepoint 2010 list's custom audit log, is there a way to create a report using report builder 3.0 without directly using sharepoint's Database tables?

hi, i'm making this report from a sharepoint list. i want to add some of the fields as the parameters for the report. (e.g : Category, Department)
i tried to run the report, the parameters were shown as expected
but the problem is when i create a query in the dataset.
i'm using caml query builder for the query expression. it goes like this :
<RSSharePointList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<FieldRef Name="Employee_x0020_Number" />
<FieldRef Name="Title" />
<FieldRef Name="Department" />
<FieldRef Name="Category" />
<FieldRef Name="Time_x0020_Spent" />
<FieldRef Name="INT_x0020_Time_x0020_Spent" />
<FieldRef Name="Severity_x0020_Level" />
<FieldRef Name="Ticket_x0020_Source" />
I am having a terrrible time getting this to work. I have configured the SharePoint site and the SQL Servers involved to use Kerberos. That has been confirmed working.
I then configured the SharePoint site's Reporting Services integration (trusted account), enabled anonymous access and enabled report builder. I can launch report builder without any issues at all. The problem comes when I try to save my report. When Report
Builder is started Items->New-ReportBuilder Report it opens and display in the lower left hand corner "No current report server." When I close the Wizard dialog and click connect I enter
http://server.fqdn.net and I receive the following error:
Unable to connect to the server that is specified in the URL, 'http://servername.fqdn.net/'.
Make sure that the server is running, the URL is correct, and you have permission to use the server.
I have also tried http://servername.fqdn.net/reportsserver/. When I try that I receive a login prompt. When I enter my credentials it tries for a few seconds and then sends another login prompt. I installed
the report server using default settings. The reporting services db is on the same server as sharepoint. The configuration and other databases are on a remote S
I upgraded our enterprise sql server 2008 to sql server 2008 r2 last weekend. Along with this i installed the report builder 3.0 on the servers as well and the updated ssrs add in for sharepoint. The upgrade went fine, no errors that i could
find. The problem is now when i go to a library that has the report builder content type enabled and click report builder report under new it does not load report builder 3.0.
I updated the custom report builder url in central administration from /_vti_bin/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.application to /_vti_bin/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder_3_0_0_0.application
however when i do click the new report builder report it kicks me over to
http://company.com/ReportServer_MossEnt which itemizes out each individual sharepoint site in the farm.
Is the integration of ssrs 2008 r2, sharepoint 2007 and report builder 3.0 work? did i install the wrong version of the report builder add in? The above is the only problem i am having now.
all servers are server 2008, 64 bit and moss 2007 enterprise with sp2 & april 2010 cu
We are using below Topology in productionTopology is 3 servers: Sever1: Sharepoint Form (wss3.0 no MOSS) Sever2: Sql server 2008Server3: Reporting Services 2008Operating system on 3 servers: Windows server 2008.Authentication mode: Form based authentication. SSRS reports are working success fully in SharePoint using above topology, The issue is through SharePoint library when i am trying to access report builder reports the client is installing, after enter the credentials it is not connecting to server and am getting the following error "Unable to connecting server at 'http://servername/Reports/Forms/AllItems.aspx' please use different url" The above issue on production only.But in local development box there is no problem (in my development box SharePoint t, database (sql) and reporting service sits on my box only) Thanks for your he

I want to create an SSRS report that displays all the steps in an executing workflow along with its current stage.
SharePoint 2010 webpart shows the current state of the executing workflow but I want to display all the steps including ones that have been completed and ones that are still to come.
I have created a report in SSRS and this report is integrated within a dashboard created using performance point services in sharepoint 2010.
The report is a simple tabular report with 5 coulmns and interactive sorting is enabled on each of them.
Sorting works when the report is viewed separately but gives "Report Server Error" when I try to sort (on any column) inside the dashboard.
I have user IP instead of host name in the report server url.
