We have just used the following
link to update our object cache user accounts and after IISRESET we are now getting the above message, and are unable to access our intranet site.
We created two new AD accounts with minimal network privileges, as these would be defined within the Central Admin, as either Full Control or Full Read.
Has anyone else updated their Cache Users and did they have a similar problem, did they create new AD accounts for this or use existing ones?
Quick turn around would be nice, how can I tell what setting has been made within powershell for the portalsuperuseraccount and portalsuperreaderaccount.
I am sending calendar appointments to a sharepoint calendar. It works fine if i send from my exchange email on the domain. However if i try to send from outlook, which has a gmail (live account same error) account off network, the mail
comes to the drop folder on my incoming email sharepoint server but then i get this error:
An error occurred while processing the incoming e-mail file C:\inetpub\mailroot\Drop\4ab7332801cb38a6000000c7.eml. The error was: The user does not exist or is not unique..
next error is
The Incoming E-Mail service has completed a batch. The elapsed time was 00:00:00.0625004. The service processed 1 message(s) in total. Errors occurred processing 1 message(s): Message ID: <000001cb38a5$00a4f100$01eed300$@com>
external users can just find send email and documents to other document libraries but this calendar is giving me problems.
all servers sharepoint 2007 sp2 enterprise edition.
I've got a literal control to display the username of the user logged into our companies intranet system, originally I had a LoginName control but couldn't get strip to remove the domain from the username (as the format is domainname\username) so I'm trying it this way.
protected void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
string Parts = User.Identity.Name.Split("\\");
if (Parts.Length == 2)
loginName.Text = Parts;
loginName.Text = User.Identity.Name;

StdOut -2068578304: The following error occurred:
The Windows account doman\user does not exist and cannot be provisioned as a SQL system administrator
Error result: -2068578304
Result facility code: 1204
Result error code: 0
domain/user is a domain administrator and also a local administrator and is the currently logged in user. This failure is happening as part of A Citrix XenApp 6.0 configuration which was started as an Administrator
A Google search for
"The Windows account" "does not exist and cannot be provisioned as a SQL system administrator"
Came up with absolutely nothing.
A Google search for -2068578304 failed to find anything, which did not surprise me.
-2068578304 translates into hex as 84B40000.
A Google search for 84B40000
Comes up with a fair few different textual descriptions with the same error code, which I am wading through.
Any help would be welcome. I am also asking my friends at Citrix.
With thanks in advance.
Hi, I need to send a cookie to the my web site's visitors and receive them back for information. For example when machine1 visits my site if not set I set a cookie with "user1", for machine2 I set "user2" etc.
Actually I need to retrieve the cookie back from my log file, so I thought if I do this it will be saved to my log file. Any help?
Thanks in advance
Here's my scenario, a user logs in to the sharepoint site and visits a document library, then I have this webpart that gets the username of the user and stores it in the database, however, my problem is that whenever the user refreshes the browser(press
F5), another session ID is thrown to the user meaning, my code will again put the username to the database and it will now have 2 data/record in my database.
What I want to do is that whenever a user visits a document library, the username will be stored in the database once, or until he logs out or after a certain amount of time. and if the user refreshes his browser(press F5) it will not count as a view/hit
therefore, the username will not be stored to the database.
I've been trying this with alot of if statements however I cant find a way to handle this. I think i really need your help again.
Following examples from Wiley's DM with MS SQL Server 2008 book. Have created a mining model I am not able to train. Up to do point where I use openquery to try to train it, everything goes smoothly. When openquery is run, I get the message: Either the xxx user does not have permission to access the yyy object, or the object does not exist. Obviously, the object exists and I as a db owner should be able to access it. Have double and tripplechecked logins/roles/permissions but have no clue what could be the showstopper.I am stuck with this issue for some time and would highly appreciate any help to move forward. Have exhausted my ideas and have not been able to find applicable resolution to my problem by querying forums.Thanks in advance.Dj.K.
I would like to present users with unique content based on certain conditions being met as they land on the home page (default.aspx). The condition logic will be in the VB code behind Page Load event. The content will go in a content placeholder as specificed from the master page.
However, the content change wouldn't be something small (ie making a panel or label visible or not) but rather it will be different HTML, Divs and databound gridview content. The HTML content will be stored in the database.
Can someone point me in the right direction for best practices on how to accomplish this?
I am hoping somene here could advise me on a better solution to my present problem. First a little background information on the application.
I have a web application using the 3.5 framework. The structure of this application is as follows: UI -> WebService -> Business Layer -> DataAccess Layer. What I want to accomplish is for every request (click on a link or button) have a unique identifer that follows this request through its entire lifecycle. This unique identifer can be accessible anywhere within this request. We use Response.Redirects which could easily be changed to Server.Transfers (although I do not want to do that) but the problem lies with the web service calls. Currently, a GUID is set in the ApplicationRequest. This GUID checks for a guid value in the RawURL and if so, assigns this value to a HttpContext Item. If not, HttpContext.Items gets a new one created. However, this idea is wrong and will need to be revisisted. The bigger problem is with the web service calls. Without changing every web service method signature, and every call for that matter, is there a way of getting this GUID there. I created a web method in every web service so that each time I instantiate a web service object in the UI, before calling any
I am having problems with a user control. I want my solution to have a separate project for holding my user controls.
The main project can get a reference to this user control project and can import this user control dll into my main project.
Thanks in advance,
