Over the past month I have posted several topics on this forum and many others about the ASP .Net MVC Framework. I have received a lot of good advice from everyone, and appreciate the assistance that everyone has provided, however, I can no longer put forth the effort to develop in a framework that doesn't seem to have the level of support it should.
Everything was going fine, until it came to the point where I needed to start using controls like a GridView. I implemented the jQuery Grid, and liked what I saw initially, until I needed to start passing parameters to it based on user input.
If I were developing a mainly static web application then ASP .Net MVC would be great, but when it comes to users manipulating data, doing cross posts and gets across controllers and models classes, dynamically altering views, and the like.....the code needed to produce the desired outcome which MVC's design is supposed to make more manageable and maintainable, becomes a tangled mess very quickly.
