I have created the Info path form.
Once the new form created i need to send the email to users which the user selected in the people picker field.
Is that possible to do this using Designer,or VS 2010.
Give some reference to do this.

I am working on SharePoint 2007. I have created 2 List called "Config List" (this is a list) and "Vacation Form" (this is form library & form designed in infopath). I have also created a workflow on form library "Vacation Form"
in Share Point Designer 2007.
With the use of this workflow I am creating some task and updating "Vacation Form".
Now I want to deploy these three thing (Config List, Vacation Form & workflow) on other server.
How do I create a package or WSP file to install these things on different server.
I need to send a reminder to the person whom a task has been assigned 3 days before a due date. We also wants to re-use this workflow/time job on other lists as well. Name of the lists can be different??
Also if the due date gets change it should change the reminder accordingly.
Which approach i should take to achieve this??
I created repeating section drop down. This drop down gets data from the list.
Now i create a work flow in a share point designer. I want to get all the repeating values in the work flow which i want to send a email with all values.
But in share point designer i can get only ROOT value, and can not get the child.. Means the first value of the section, not others.
Please help me to get all the values.

We had a 3rd party into to develop the share-point service, This is really a very difficult situation not the solution but the documents that are stored and the way it was retrieved.
The real thing is that we receive an item it is booked into SAP and then we send an automated xml to set up a local site this site will then have details from the SAP system fed by ABAP. After the site is created, and then we add documents files
and .jpg. These documents must show a detailed audit trail so that if challenged in a court of law can show who had access and who updated documents.
SO the problem is
1 Site Collection that is 170gig and the design means that we have 1600 sites and these contain images that are stored in the single site collection. How do we remove the full documents and images and replace with links rather than the doc, img.

i want to create a particular folder structure in picture library whenever i add a new item to item to a list. for eg if i add a new item is added to a list a folder with same name as the title of the item added should
be created in picture library with a fixed subfolder structure inside the main folder .Is it possible if i use a custom list or should i use an infopath form instead of custom list . Iam using sharepoint 2010 and infopath 2010 .

i have a form that need to be approved by a specific approver.
first when the user submit the form it send an email to the specific approver and the form is also submitted to a library.
so the approver gets an email and the approver need to get the form submitted to his library.
the email part is working fine. now i miss the library part.
i think i need to use a workflow. but how can i create a workflow that assinged a to-do item to a specific approver instead of a group.
in my library i have the following fields:
form name, created by and aprrover's name.
now i need the workflow to look up for the name of the approver and send an "assigned a to-do item" to the specific approver of the form
How to create Custom workflow approval form in sharePoint 2010.?
I have to create serial approval workflow with 3 stages,
1. In each of approval stage, Approver has to approve and update the value in the SharePoint List.
2. Workflow email should have email link to workflow list item.

I can view the form, create a new form and publish the form to the library on submit. However, When I try to create an approval WorkFlow on the site, I get "This Form Has Been Closed".
I have a task list created and I have the form library set up to display web part pages. I published the form from the main SharePoint server. How can I add a workflow to this Web Form?
I need to define a workflow where every night it checks the end date and if it is in past it should delete that list item. To achieve this I defined two workflows on the list which satrt when item created or modified. One workflow just checks the date and
if past deletes the item. Another workflow I have defined as timer workflow which pauses untill 1am next day and then updates a hidden filed in the list item which triggers another instance of the timer workflow as well as deletion workflow.
Everything works fine if I remove the pause Until action, but if I use Pause Until or Pause For Duration the workflow does not resume and throws error workflow failed to run.
I googled and found this issue with 2007 and some hotfixes but could not find any solution for 2010 Anyone experienced the same issue?
How do I set the Task Owner Instructions when using a CreateTask Activity within a State Machine Workflow. I am using the OOTB Approval Form within this workflow and I have tried using the following code within MethodInvoking of the CreateTask
