My computer needed to be "reset" at the beginning of this year. I let my computer go through dozens of "updates". When it came to the .net 3.5 sp1, it has been stuck for almost 9 months and cannot complete. It says it was interrupted and
cannot continue. I have tried in vain to research a solution, but am not sure what I am looking for.
I am pretty good at computers, but the thing that really bugs me is that Microsoft (and the great minds) cannot come up with a "fix" type of
button that -lets say I want to get to the ms .net framework 4.0, but I am having errors, that it will examine what I have and don't have and "repair" my files to completion. I thought this is what the "update"
deal was all about.
Also, there are so many types of the .net framework downloads, I don't know what is relevent for my computer or not. I have the newest version of Roxio Creator and cannot get it installed because of these files that will not complete. It seems
that there are "repair" options for most of the stuff in microsoft and our programs, please help us who don't dissect computers for a living. I need help....thank you!
