"Transfer SQL Server Objects Task" doesn't always copy the data when it's configured to do so

Can someone enlighten me on why this is happening? I have three instances of the "Transfer SQL Server Objects Task" in an SSIS package, each instance copies tables and data from a different source database. Two of the three copy the data without a problem, but one of them does not copy the data even though I have set the CopyData property = true.  And it does not give an error. The status at the end reports Success. Why is this happening?

Copy data from one server to another using SQL

Hi,

I created a proc that copies data from one server to another. But my server name seems producing an error.

My server name is USER-PC\MSSQLSERVERDEV.

Here''s the complete sql that my proc is producing:

INSERT INTO DemoGolf_84_WMS.dbo.PS_DOC_HDR SELECT * FROM USER-PC\MSSQLSERVERDEV.DemoGolf_84_WMS1.dbo.PS_DOC_HDR WHERE DOC_ID = 201141437430

I''m getting an error of:

Msg 156, Level 15, State 1, Line 1

Incorrect syntax near the keyword ''USER''.

MS SQL Server: Search All Tables, Columns & Rows For Data or Keyword Query

If you need to search your entire database for specific data, this query will come in handy.

So when a client needs a custom report or some sort of custom development using Great Plains, most of the time I will have to track down the data in the system by running this query and find the table(s) it is in.

Bulk Copy From Datatable To SQL Server Table

 I have read the data of a excle file and captured the data into the dataset to a datatable, now that data is to be inserted into a SQL Server table using bulk copy option. I am using -

 public bool BulkEnterData(DataTable dt, string tblName)
    {
        SqlBulkCopy bulk = new SqlBulkCopy(con);
        bulk.DestinationTableName = tblName;

        con.Open();
        bulk.WriteToServer(dt);
        con.Close();

        return true;
    }

ERROR Getting-
A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - The pipe has been ended.)

How to resolve the above problem or any other solution is available.

server side does not save data when using POST data to another URL using WebRequest

Hi,
 I am using a IIS 7.5 on Windows 7. I have a simple application that uses System.Net.WebRequest to POST data to another URL (in fact, the server side URL is on my local computer and it is hosted in IIS 7.5).

  1.  The problem is the server does not save data from client although on the client side codes when I debug and I see the OK message return from the code line

   response.StatusDescription; // this has value of "OK"

2. How can I debug the server code side where to receive the request from client side who posts the data ?

The following is the codes for client who posts data using System.Net.WebRequest, and codes for server side who received posted data to save to database.

Client side codes: // also run on my local computer

public string PostIntegrationXml(XmlDocument xmlSubmitDoc)

        {
