I've been looking around on the net for a sollution to my problem but couldn't find anything, so I thought I'd try actually asking people as a last resort.
I have an autocompleteextender which works just fine, but I'm now in need of some extra functionality.
What it currently does is get all of its items from a webservice, show the list and places an item inside a textbox on click.
However, I now need to give certain items a different colour *inside* the completionlist. I guess I would differentiate in which items need to be normal (white) and which need to be coloured (red) by making a completionlistitem inside my webservice, and just passing the bool.
The big problem however is actually changing the way the completionlist is built. The only difference that's needed is giving some <li>'s an extra css class, but after hours of searching, I couldn't find anywhere to actually change the way the completionlist is built...
If anybody can tell me how to change this behavior, or even better: show me an example, I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,
