anyone knows about one API which can be used with ASP.NET to post status and share on all social networks (or at least many social networks) like twitter, linkedin, etc.. instead of using a different API for every social network?

Pattern recognition is an increasingly complex field. Every day technologies like handwriting recognition, spam filters, and search engines must identify ever more complicated patterns. One way these complex relationships can be represented is through the use of neural networks. Find out what neural networks can do for your pattern recognition and prediction tasks.

Hi - I have a couple of related issues...
I thought that I should be able to find documents based on tags, but that doesn't seem to be working. Are there configuration steps that are needed to enable that? Searches on document content and on structured metadata are working correctly,
but not on tags or enterprise keywords.
Also, it isn't clear to me how I can monitor the use of social tags. Where is the interface for this?
We wish to disable the "Tags and Notes" feature on our SharePoint 2010 site. When I remove the "Use Social Features" permission from the "User Profile Service Application" this also removes the "My Site" link from the drop down at the top of the page.
Why on earth would this happen? According to the TechNet page on social features (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee721063.aspx) the Use Social Features permission "Includes
social tags, Note Board, and ratings." Nothing in there indicates that it would remove the link to My Site.
My Site continues to work of course, it is just that the link is removed (which confuses users).
We want to disable Tags and Notes but leave the link to My Site. Is there a way?
If I create a wiki page and add the note board webpart, then construct a URL for the page which contains a parameter (ie. home.aspx?tn=1), and add a note, then that note will only display if the "?tn=1" parameter is included in the URL.
However, if instead I use a web part page, (and leave the URL for Notes property blank) the Note Board ignores the parameter in the URL. I can add the full url with parameters in the "URL for Notes" property for the web part, and
it will store and retrieve properly.
I want to use a web part page with a Note Board web part, but have it act like the wiki page when saving notes to specific URLs, including parameters. Is there a work around for this?
Given the Social Media emphasis of SharePoint 2010--the emphasis on blogs, wikis, tagging, ranking, etc. I'm wondering if there's an out of the box means to flag content (whether it's in video, picture, doc libs, or even the comments section of a blog) as
Has anyone come across this functionality? I've done a bit of searching with "flag as inappropriate" in my search query and, of course, get lots of blog posts that have that capability enabled! So that's not very useful.
Thanks in advance
i hope jin chen would read this.
i followed his instruction from the link above(in the title)
i still got an error message :
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: An unexpected error occurred while compiling expressions. Native compiler return value: ‘[BC42105] Function 'RemoveDups' doesn't return a value on all code paths. A null reference exception could occur at
run time when the result is used.’.

thx in advance.
I am investigating implementing a custom social security trimmer using the ISocialSecurityTrimmer interface. Is there a Powershell cmdlet to register a social security trimmer? Equivalent to New-SPEnterpriseSearchSecurityTrimmer for Search security trimmers.
The only alternative way I have found is to use PluggableSocialSecurityTrimmerManager to register. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.office.server.socialdata.pluggablesocialsecuritytrimmermanager.registerpluggablesecuritytrimmer.aspx.
Any pointers would be great appreciated if you have successfully implemented a custom social security trimmer.
I am testing out the Outlook Social Connector. The Facebook and LinkedIn providers work great, however when I try the MySite provider
I receive an XML validation error.
The connection appears to be successful however when I click on "Finish" in the dialog I get the error message. This is the standard
SharePoint activity Feed
Using Fiddler, I see:
The error is presented after the UserProfileService call. After clicking Ok, I see the final request.
