We have a company who is hosting and managing a SQL Server Report Builder Server 3.0. There are times we have to choose the button Edit As Text so we can place an OR statement in the code instead of using an AND statement on the filters,
and possibly other minor changes. (Thats the only way I know of doing this). After we deselect the Edit As Text button we get an error "Switching to Visual Designer will discard your manual changes." Is this a problem with Microsoft report builder by design
or is it something our provider may have setup improperly. This has made it difficult if we start to write the query and want to test results and then later decide we did something wrong and needed to add another field or make a change. Once we have
Edited in text mode it seems we are stuck and if we don't know SQL that well we are in trouble. Any ideas of what our provider needs to do to fix? If it is a MS limitation, is there a work around that will allow us to bring over our work that was changed in
the Edit Text mode back to where we can continue working in design mode?
