It is possible to start SQL Server Management Studio and specify a data source, database, user id, and password on the command line. When SSMS has loaded, object explorer has an open connection to the specified database.
Now my user wants to be able to connect to a second database through my C# application. Is there any way I can send a command to the running instance of SSMS to open a second connection in the object explorer to this second database? If so how
do I do that?
