I'm a newbie when it comes to ASP but I have some background knowlege of C#. I want to build this application where a non-admin user can unlock accounts and change passwords on Corporate domain. These selected users with these rights have to be a member of group. I've found snippets of code from MSDN and other blogs where I've managed to authenticate users (on the test ad) which are members of these groups, but now I'm getting COM exceptions when i try to unlock a password.
I understand that I require a service account which asp will use to make these changes without giving admin rights to the technical team using this application. does this need to be configured in the web.config connection string?
connectionString="data source=.\SQLEXPRESS;Integrated Security=SSPI;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|\aspnetdb.mdf;User Instance=true"
<compilation debug="true" targetFramework="4.0" />
<forms loginUrl="~/Account/Login.aspx" timeout="28
