In MOSS site, if we click on MyLinks, it shows model pop(Dropdown). My requirement is to provide on one ASP.NET drodowm control and on click on that, the same window should open which comes if you click on MyLinks link.
How to achieve this? Please suggest
I have a user control containing a gridview
now i am using that user control with a model pop in aspx page
i have three gridview in aspx page, and for each gridview i have to popup the user control
for first two all things are fine
but for the third one all gridview lost
Columns> <asp:TemplateField> <ItemTemplate> &nbs
i have used a model popup extender for a login screen
here are the codes
<asp:LinkButton ID="loginbtn" runat="server" Text="Login"></asp:LinkButton><asp:LinkButton ID="logoutbtn" runat="server" Visible="false" PostBackUrl="~/UI/Pages/Customer/SingOutCustomer.aspx">Log Out</asp:LinkButton> <cc1:ModalPopupExtender ID="loginbtn_ModalPopupExtender" runat="server" DynamicServicePath="" Enabled="True" TargetControlID="loginbtn" CancelControlID="ImageButton1" PopupControlID="Panel1" BackgroundCssClass="modalBackground" DropShadow="true"> </cc1:ModalPopupExtender>
<asp:Panel ID="Panel1" runat="server"> &n
While playing around with that modal popup extender just to see its capabilties, I found a difficulty in positioning the panel (which is the control that pops up as a modal window) in a place other than the center of the page .
I initially tried defining the style atribbute of the panel itself (eg: style="position:absolute; top:200px; left:200px") and didn't work. I then tried applying a css (containg the info about the position in class) to the panel which again didn't work. It seems that the modal overrides the settings regarding the positioning and always places the panel in the center of its container.
Is there something that I am not doing right?
Hi, I am using a MVVM pattern for a WPF UserControl. I need to be able to position a dialog over the top of the control, so I need the top left screen coords for the control.
IF, I was to use code behind, the following seems to do the job..
private void UserControl_MouseDoubleClick(object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e)
Point controlPos = PointToScreen(new Point(0, 0));
The controlPos above seems to give the correct result. However, is there anyway of doing this without having to use any code behind in the actual control (eg have the code purley perhaps in the View model class, of have something in the Controls XAML?
Thanks in advance for any help
