I am getting issue in "Upload Multiple Documents" after office 2010 install.

Kindly help me, its urgent.
I've created custom attachment field, so this field collecting file names from user when user creates new list item. Well, i got local file names list, i know how to upload them to library, but i need to upload them right after list item was created
( i need to assign uploaded files to this new item by its ID ). Something like item attachments works, files uploads after ( or durnig - not sure ) new item created.
btw, i cant use workflows because files are at client side.
This started when I just needed to delete a document, I noticed most of the actions on the ribbon for Library-->Documents were greyed out. The only thing that is not greyed is Upload document. I have tried with multiple administrator accounts,
installed office client on the server, I have tried from multiple clients and get the same thing. Windows 7 and Office 2010 are on the clients I have tried.
Is it possible I may have missed an explicit permission that even an administrator account (domain admin + SP site collaction/farm admin) does not have?
How can we set permissions or (something) else that will let user to just edit item but CANT delete item?
