I have a parent window which launches a child window where users can enter data. Once they are finishing entering the data, an alert will come up which will inform the user that the child window will now close. Once the child window closes, I want to reload the parent window which in turn will force a date to drop off of a list after it posts back.
When I try and execute the below code, the child window just hangs and nothing happens. If I only include the window.close method, the child window closes and returns me to the parent window, but it doesn't reload. The problem is when I include the "if" statement at the end of the script.
Here is my code behind:
sb.AppendLine("All patients for the EDLog Date of Service of " + strDate + " have been completed.");
sb.AppendLine("You will now go back to the Open DataEntry Queue.");
sb.AppendLine("Please select the next date of service in the queue.");
