I made a webservice which I reached at
https://mycomputer/MyserviceApp/myservice.svc. I created a development certificate with makecert and it was working well.
Now I decided to make my app more flexibile. I make an alias to mycomputer (at the moment the service and client are on the same development machine). I edited the web.config and app config to not to use
https://mycomputer... but use
https://myalias... I created a new dev certificate with makecert attached it to my website on iis.
However when I start my client it couldn't connect. In the evenlog I saw logs which tells me the client tried to connect to
https://mycomputer and not to
https://myalias... and it doesn't found any endpoint.
