Select Multiple Email Addresses

 I have a form that once it has been completed needs to be emailed to several, but not the same, people every time. My thought was to create a dropdown with all the possible email addresses., Then, tie a button (data connection – send an email) to those addresses highlighted in the dropdown.


Problem: I can highlight only 1 address from the dropdown. Is there a way to allow multiple selections for the dropdown?


Or am I going about this from the wrong direction? Suggestions?

BDC Column with Ability to Select Multiple Values


Use Case:

We are creating a storage location for technical product articles. These will be SharePoint publishing pages. Each page will have metadata assigned to it to make it searchable by properties. The possible values for one of the columns (Part Number) could potentially be sourced by our ERP system. I'd like to do this to eliminate the possibility of free-text entry errors, but there are probably over 10,000 parts so a drop-down list isn't feasible.


Ideal Situation:

The end user enters the part number and clicks a button to verify it against a BDC entry from our ERP system. If they weren't sure on the part number they needed, they could do a lookup from that metadata entry screen. They'd need to have the option to add multiple part numbers as one technical product article could reference multiple part numbers.



Is BDC an option for all of this or am I looking at a custom metadata solution? I thought I heard along the way that BDC only supported one value choice, but I couldn't find a verification for that in the forums.



WCF 4.0 Multiple Base Addresses

Hi, I need guidance on configuring Multiple Base Addresses of a WCF service. The bindings will be same for both the base addresses.The service needs to be deployed on IIS and I am using WCF 4.0 I read about this on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee358763.aspx but there are no sample or code snippets associated with it. Select All on multiple data grids on the same page

Hi gurus, I have two data grids on one page and both have first colums as a check box list. Cannot create email alerts for multiple users

Hello, I created an email alert for a document in a library. In the "Send Alerts To" box, I added multiple user names separated by semicolons and saved the alert. However, when I open the alert again, only my user name appears and the additional user names are gone. Why is this happening and how do I fix this problem?  Thank you in advance.

How do I implement the "Multiple Select" Action!

Hi everybody! Its me again! I was wondering, if there a possibility to implement the "Multiple Select" Action within a Document Library  into a SharePoint2007 customized list definition do get it ready for SharePoint 2010. Is it a special <tag> in on of the *.xml files (Schema.xml, Elements.xml) or just a configuration within SharePoint? Looking forward for some answers Thanks

people picker problem, with multiple select lose the list.

Select multiple controls on tabpage, Drag & Drop control(s) (WinForms)


I'm wondering, if somebody got some code or thoughts for selecting multiple control displayed on tab page and drag & drop control on tab page it self. Something like on windows desktop, where you can draw a rectangel with mouse cursor to select folder and files. Also, drag folder or files to different location.

Select multiple checkboxes placed inside a combobox



I have just started working on WPF and I am fairly new to this technology. I need to add a excel filter like functionality for datagrid control. I have successfully added a combobox(with checkboxes inside) in the header of the datagrid. The datagrid needs to display "All" as first checkbox. If user checks this first checkbox all other checkboxes(inside same combo) need to be checked automatically. Following is my datatemplate for combo. I have placed in column header combo through codebehind.

SharePoint Designer Workflow to email multiple recipients listed in a custom list


Hi all,

I created a workflow in designer attached to a form library. I also have a custom list "Admins" containing names of persons that serves a different purpose but would also like to be used as recipients for the workflow email everytime a new item in the form library is created.

I have been searching the net and tried out few work arounds but so far able to send to only one person in the "Admins" list. The list has a column "Admin Name" which is of type "Person or Group".

Need help with SELECT statement for multiple tables


Here's my current SELECT statement:

SELECT u.Email FROM UserProfiles p, aspnet_Membership u WHERE p.RulesCheckBox = 'True' AND u.UserId = p.UserId

This gives me a list of registered member email addresses that have selected the RulesCheckBox in their profile, so I can email them with an email script.  There is a relationship between the Membership table and the UserProfile table, so it finds the email addresses from the Membership table where that user has the RulesCheckBox checked in their profile (in UserProfiles table).  I'm wanting to add some additional names to this list, from a different table. The purpose is so I can manually add email addresses to the additional table, so the additional email addresses will also receive the same email, even though they aren't registered members of the site.

So how can I adjust that SELECT statement so this one is combined with it somehow?:

SELECT Email FROM ExtraEmails WHERE Rules = 'true'

SP2010 - Email with multiple attachments


We have SP2010 and Exchange 2007 and most users working with Outlook 2007.  I've doen a search but wasn't able to find any relevant information on this site or the web.  We can easily select a document and click the "Email A Link" button in the ribbon and send the email with a link.  What we can't seem to do is select multiple documents and then email the selected links. Is there a setting somewhere for this, another way to do it, or am i just hosed on this one?



How do I - pass multiple params from multi-select drop down on one report to another via action


Report 1 - 3 params:  @Status =Y,N  @FromDate, @ToDate.  Report one shows 2 cols (Status, Total). 

 @Status gets values from shared dataset - getStatus

Status      Totals
[Status]    [Total]

I created an action [Total] when clicked runs another report that accepts the same 3 params (Status, FromDate, ToDate) and works fine if i only select one of the status' from the status param drop down.

I am trying to create an action on [sum(Total)] that will run the same 2nd report with both status' selected.  Show it should show me details of all Y and N

The second report will work if i set the 2nd report @Status param to no default value.  But i want a user to be able to run the 2nd report by itself if needed so i set the @Status param to Get Values from a Query, which get the same dataset as report 1 which is getStatus.  It will not populate the 2nd report Status field when I do this.  I am forced to set it to no default values.  Is there a way to pass both the Y and N from report 1 to report 2 and still keep the drop down multi-select box on report 2 for Status?
