I have SP2010 stup with a TFS portal. Brand new machine for the job. Installed 2008R2, Installed SP2010 when release, Installed TFS when released. Set the relative TFS groups up to people could see work items and so fourth in the portal. Added the relative
users to the relative SP groups and it all works fine Except everyone bar me gets Access denied if they have been logged out of portal for too long. The way this is fixed is by me logging in.
I'll try to be clearer.
User A tried to log into the portal first thing in the morning.
User A gets Access Denied.
User A SMSs Me (the admin)
I log in and do nothing but login, don't touch a single link, don't do anything, Just login.
User A can now Login in.
User A can be any none admin type user. It happens to everyone.
This has been going on since the day it was setup. Basicly the day after VS2010 was released. It has not been a majour issue so far as we are only doing prep work for a new project so only a couple of people have been adding documents but thats about to change
so I need to sort it out.

// Seek to the beginning of the field
System.IO.StreamReader srFile = new System.IO.StreamReader(_FileName.PathAndFileName);
// Read the field
int FieldLength = Field.FieldLength;
int BUFFER_SIZE = (int)RecordLength;
byte bBuffer = new Byte[BUFFER_SIZE];
srFile.BaseStream.Read(bBuffer, 0, (int)FieldLength);
string FieldValue;FieldValue = bBuffer.ToString();
but bBuffer is numbers like:
and the value of FieldValue is "System.Byte"
I'm trying to get text as this is a text file.

I have linked my tables, in SQL Server Express 2005, to MS Access 2007 and created a File DSN named LocalSQLServer.dsn. Both the front end (MS Access 2007) and the back end (SQL Express 2005) are on the same machine.
I am trying to check an open connection , and for that I have written a module -- Function CheckConnection(strFileDSNName As String, _
strDBName As String, Optional strUN As String, Optional strPW As String) As Boolean
strConnect = "Provider=ODBC" & _
";FILE DSN =" & strFileDSNName & _
";Database=" & strDBName
I have created a form with a command button to check the connection, but it is giving the following error
"-2147467259; Method 'Close Connection' of Object'_CurrentProject failed
I am not able to figure it out, if the Connection Parameters that I have taken are correct or not. Please help me in this.
I've a 64 bit SSRS 2008 R2 server. My goal is to provide user the capability to create a report against Access 2003. In order to do that I am installed Office 2010 64 bit driver for MS Access from the following site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=c06b8369-60dd-4b64-a44b-84b371ede16d.
The driver got installed just fine, when I try a UDL, I do see the option: Microsoft Office 12.0 Access Database Engine OLE DB Provider. But when I try to create a Data Source in SSRS, I do not see that provider under OLEDB. Can anyone suggest what I
What is the problem with this code?

I have used the the CspParameters obeject and set the container name. Im then putting it into an RSACryptoServiceProvider object and then calling:

bool isVerified = false;
CspParameters cspParams = new CspParameters();
cspParams.KeyContainerName = containerName;
RSACryptoServiceProvider rsaKey = new RSACryptoServiceProvider(cspParams);
// Create a new XML document.
XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument();
// Load an XML file into the XmlDocument object.
xmlDoc.PreserveWhitespace = true;
// Check arguments.
if (xmlDoc == null)
throw new ArgumentException("Doc");
if (rsaKey == null)
throw new ArgumentException("Key");
// Create a new SignedXml object and pass it
// the XML document class.
SignedXml signedXml = new SignedXml(xmlDoc);
// Find the "Signature" node and create a new
// XmlNodeList object.
XmlNodeList nodeList = xmlDoc.GetElementsByTagName("Signature");

I got a problem which I have been suffering from for ages. we have a lot of MS access applications (Access '97) which link tables in sql server 2008. As you know the access application locks data extensively. And I can not use 'with nolock' table
hint in access application. the result is we have a lot of long locks or even deadlock. How to minimize the amount of locks?
Is there anyone who came across this issue and please share your ideas.
