ReportBuilder 2.0: open server report via command line?

Hello,is it possible to launch ReportBuilder 2.0 and pass the server report to open via command line?Searching the forums I have found this blog-entry (Launching Report Builder from the command line), but I think it is for ReportBuilder 1.0, because SQL Server 2005 is mentioned. I have tried it anyway, but ReportBuilder 2.0 just starts with an empty report.If I specify a rdl-file from the local file system the report will open fine:MSReportBuilder.exe d:\temp\samplereport.rdlthanks in advance and best regards,Gerald

SSRS 2008 Report Manager only accessible within the server, cannot open on a different PC

How should I configure my SQL 2008 Reporting Services so that the Report Manager can be accessed outside the server.  That is, from a different machine within the same network?  Whenever I try to access the Report Manager from another machine, a prompt will appear requesting for username/password several times before a blank page is shown.

Reporting Services Configuration Details:
Service Account: Local System
Execution Account: Tried using my own login details within the domain and tried without it

Please let me know if you need any other details.  I am running out of ideas on what I can possibly do, thanks!

In Sharepoint Integrated Mode whether Report Manager URL http:///Reports will open the

Hai Friends,

                I am Ali, In SharPoint Integrated mode ReportManager URL getting This Error [ This operation is not supported on a report server that is configured to run in SharePoint integrated mode. (rsOperationNotSupportedSharePointMode) ].

1. at the time of SQL Server 2008 R2 installation Reporting services enabled In Native mode.

2  In Reporting service config manager tool http://<serverName>/Reports URL is working in 'Native mode' as Fine. Here i am able to create New Roles and able create New Folders and able to deploy the Reports from BIDS and Report Builder to Report Server.

3. Now , I opened Reporting Services Config Manager Tool and I Created New Data Base(as 'ReportServerTest) In sharepoint Integrated mode.

4. ReportServer Configured Reporting Services in SharePoint Integrated mode Sucsessfully. Granted Data base.

4. Enabled Content Types Sharepoint Library and i am able to deploy .rdl files from BIDS(Designer) to sharepoint library.

5. But i need to Deploy the Reports from Report Builder 3.0 to Report Server In SharePoint Integrated Mode

I Want to op

while running new report, doesn't indicate if previous report preview page is open

i am using asp.net to run the reports from the parameter page.

When i run a report by passing report parameters, the reporting services report opens in the report_preview.aspx page.

 Now, if i do not close this report_preview.aspx page and go to new parameter page and run another report, the report_preview.aspx page doesn't show the new report. It just refreshes the old report.

This can be because, when the run button of any parameter page is executed, it opens the report_preview.aspx page by executing the following query under page_load button.

            ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(this, typeof(string), "openNewWindow", "window.open('../Report_Preview.aspx','ReportPreview','scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,')", true);

But clients get confused for everytime to close previous preview page and open the new report.

IS there any way to handle it please

Is there any way to generate the new ssrs report on the same report_preview.aspx page by refreshing it ( by replacing previous report by the new one) ?

Disabling the "Open with Report Builder" menu item

We are using MOSS 2007 integrated with SQL Reporting Services. In the report viewer, there is a menu item called "Open With Report Builder". We do not want this menu item to be displayed or, alternately, would like to disable it. I assumed that this could be done by configuring the SSRS integration property "Enable ad-hoc reporting" in central admin to FALSE. Alas, this is not the case. The report builder menu item is still there and when you select it, it starts to install the application. How can I either disable or hide this menu item in the report viewer?

Thank You.

Alternating row background for first column of a report

is there a way to make the first column of a report use the an alternating background color?

I have the background color set for the entire row however it does not work for the first column if the color is set to an expression.  If I just set it to a color i.e. red it works just fine. If I insert a dummy column to the left it works just fine (but the dummy column does not work, presumably because it is first??).

In the file below only the textbox for part number does not show an alternating background.  All others work correctly.

                    <Textbox Name="PartNumber">
