How do you set the start page with godaddy hosting? I can see no way of doing this! You do not seem to have access to the IIS settings that allow you to change it!
How to use asp.net C# to scroll to the bottom on page on post back or programmatically decision?
I am reading through Wrox Professional Visual Studio 2010.In Chapter 3, there is an example of how to customize and extend the start page.
So he wants you to copy the files from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\StartPages\<Culture>intoC:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Visual Studio 10\StartPages. He say you may need to create this because it may not exist by default. So I would just copy the files into:C:\Documents and Settings\Sam\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\StartPages and work from there right?
Then he says double click StartPage.csproj to opent the WPF project in Visual Studio 2010.But StartPage.csproj simply does not exist anywhere.
I have installed Visual Studio 2010 sdk and the Custom Start Page Project which shows up in extension manager.I just can't figure out how to use it.
I am on Windows XP.
I am asked to build a MVC page on top of a existing web form site. I need to let the controller return a web form page instead of a view page. Is there any way I could achieve this?
How do I set the number of Most Recent Projects displayed. I have tried the obvious -- Tools-Options..... but I cannot see it.
As the title suggests, I have an object to hold some specific state information in my web application - I pass it back & forward between pages by making it a property of a basepage which works fine, but I lose it on postback.
Is there any way to persist this property without manually adding & reading it again from viewstate?
how to make start date, end date and people and group readonly using sharepoint designer(sharepoint 2007).

This is a really minor, annoying problem, but if anyone has an easy answer, I'd love to know it.
I'm pretty much a newbie and have been using Visual Web Developer for about a year. I've switched to using VWD 2010 Express this year when I upgraded to Windows 7. Almost all of the websites that I've created show up on the Start Page in the Recent Projects section -- except for one! I can go to "Open Web Site" and find it, but it never appears in the Recent Projects. This is one that I'd love to put a pushpin in (one of my favorite features!), but I can't figure out why it won't show up.
I have a Formview that is only showing a question, and two checkboxes (True / False). It's cumbersome for the client to have to click "Update" every time they click a checkbox.
Is there a way to have Formview update the data when the page is changed, or form is closed? (I see those events, but know how to force data to update from in them).
The application is testing individuals, so 95% of the time the person navigating through the forms will be updating data.
I have cleared browser cache, history and signed off, signed back in. I can see this header screen
Now, if I click Forums tab to navigate to forums.asp.net, I can see this
If you observe the screenshot, you can see the points are different and the posts are static (everything says few seconds ago). Is it a browser caching issue or something else. I have seen the same thing since 3-4 hours.
