I've done some work with SSIS before but I don't have any formal training so I don't know what I don't (if you know what I mean ;-) )
When loading various flat files to database tables, we may get type conversion errors - when this happens I know I can rerect the bad data ROW to a new table / flat file. What I have been asked to do is build on this and identify which RECORD(S) caused the
row to fail
I've googled pretty extensively on this and there's loads of stuff about bad rows but I can't seem to find anything on figuring out which record caused the error - reason behind this is that I have been asked to do some on the fly remediation to clean bad
records to default values and push through to the database...is this even possible in SSIS?
