We have a requirement of creating an input page which might be different for different users, changing will be in terms of number and type of fields.
How should i architect this page. Should i create page using "XML and XSLT" or "XML and database fields" or is there any more flexible way to create this type of page.
I couldn't visualise the flow in which this should be implemented.Can somebody please advise me on this.

I am developing an ASP.NET Webforms application for job advertisements. The application is hosted on my own server and enables registrated users to publish job advertisements with the possibility to submit job applications directly from web. The application essentially consists of two parts: job advertisements and job applications sub-apps.
The job advertisement application uses RESTful approach, implemented as ASP.NET routing and makes no use of different state variables (like viewstate). I provide custom layout of job advertisement webpage for every client using XML serialization of my internal JobOffer class and using XML ASP.NET control with custom XSLT transformation sheet plus CSS to render the custom design. It is all fine and works perfectly.
The second (job applications) part provides users with a custom webform, which is partically dependent upon the original advertisement (regarding the minimal education level, eligible citizenship or work permissions, licences etc.) and can be tweacked using custom CSS. There is, however, no possibility for custom layout of the elements on this page, which provides a multi-tabbed navigation for different parts of job application. Hence the question 1 (see below).
The application is not ready yet, but I intend to keep it hosted on my own server and provide just some ki

In essence, I am creating Dynamic Checkboxlist controls and adding them to a Panel. It works well when I do not have a Master Page configure to this webpage. Once I have a masterpage congifured.. I get a "Object Reference not set to instance of object" error on the Panel_Control.Controls.Add(Checkboxlistnew) line:
protected void Page_PreInit(object sender, EventArgs e)
XML OXML = new XML();
alistChkBoxLabels = OXML.XMLTransform("C:\\Documents and Settings\..\\Config_new.xml", "config_options/check_box/applications/app/@name");
int count = 1;
alistCheckisFacility = new ArrayList();
alIDTracker = new ArrayList();
while (count <= alistChkBoxLabels.Count)
Checkboxlistnew = new CheckBoxList();
Checkboxlistnew.ID = count.ToString();
Checkboxlistnew.Items.Add(new ListItem(alistChkBoxLabels[count - 1].ToString(), alistChkBoxLabels[count - 1].ToString()));
String sAppName = alistChkBoxLabels[count - 1].ToString().Trim();
alistCheckisFacility = OXML.XMLTransform("C:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\My Documents\\Visual Studio 2005\\WebSites\\User_Trial\\Config_new
I know very little about sharepoint and have outsourced the design of a master page and sub page design for a new website using sharepoint. i received a site master file with all of the necessary images and the home page works just fine. However the file
i received for the sub page design template was an ASPX file with the following instructions:
Here I enclosed the inner page layout file. You upload this file by using following instructions. you can change & edit the blue menu section in the master page itself. If I change into
modifiable section you need to add the menu in each and every page, otherwise it will show as empty block. Please let me know your comments.
Steps for uploading inner page layout page.
1.Select the Site Actions button and click on Site Settings->Modify All site settings
My webpart (wss 3.0, VS2005) initialy contain a listbox. Depeding on the selection made a certain amount of textboxes are to be created and rendered. Via these dynamically created / rendered textboxes text can be submitted (via a button), for futher processing.
I am not sure how, or where in the webpart code,ÃÂ to dynamically create these textboxes.
Maybe somebody can give me some advise on this topic.
Thanks in advance
