### SSIS - Lookup Percentages values change

Good day, i need help please.

The problem i have is that a percentage colume in my table, when i sum the total = '100.0000000'

This fine, but when i insert in SSIS - Lookup & i preview the data in Lookup task the Total = '100.072' which makes my calculations incorrect.

is there something i need to do to keep it in its original sum - but i view my decimal places in advanced properties decmal(38,12) so this should be fine.

Is in the query that i have to perhaps force it to be 100.0000, how?

Can somebody please direct me on what i should do

Hi All,

I want to calculate Sum of percentages in my SSRS report.

I have two fields :

Field1   Field2

For Field1 I am using the following formula --- Fields!suminsured/Sum(Fields!no.ofRisks) * 100

The  Field1  formula is working correctly....

Now I want to calculate Field2 from  Field1 ....

My Field2 Formula is Sum(Fields!suminsured/Sum(Fields!no.ofRisks)*100) --- But when I am doing this way its giving error...

Can any body let me know how to acheive Field2 ....??

Field2 is nothing but Sum(Field1) ....But for Field1 I am using Percentage Forumula....So field2 should be Sum(Field1) percentages....

Any ideas in this regard will be appreciated...

What i need to do is update a value  in a table by a given percentage. But it doesn't seem to work. For example, take the above query:

```SELECT	SupCommVATRate
FROM	Booking
WHERE	ID = B.ID```

This will give the percentage value that we would multiply by, so these values are stored like so, 10.00, 20.00, 90.00 etc. 10.00 being 10% an so on.

So when i run this query i am trying to get 10% of 57.33 and UPDATE the ?"Local" field with the value which should be 5.73 BUT i am getting 5.21???
