SSRS Report based on SSAS Cubes doesn't show NULL values correctly

I have a SSRS report which is based on an SSAS Cube. In the Cube the formating of numeric fields that NULL values are properly shown as NULL values. In the Cube Browser and Excel this is shown correctly. However when I design the report already the query against SSAS shows these fields as "0" instead of NULL. Is there a way to fix this or is this a bug ?

Character spacing issue SSRS 2005 custom font

Hello together, we are facing a strange character spacing issue in SSRS 2005 SP3 (Version 9.00.4035.00). As we export the report to a pdf file, we get unwanted spaces between each character. The report uses custom fonts. Is there any known issue related to this? I appreciate your help. Thanks!  Kind regards Moritz Mars

Button height doesn't increase with larger font size

Hi, I've got a couple buttons in a StackPanel that aren't increasing when I increase the font size. I think it has to do with the VerticalAlignment but I'm not catching what's going on. Here is the xaml: <StackPanel Grid.Row="3" Grid.RowSpan="1" Height="Auto" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Name="stackPanel1" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Width="Auto" Orientation="Horizontal"> <Button Background="#FF7F3F96" BorderBrush="{x:Null}" Content="exit" FontFamily="Myriad Pro" FontSize="12" Foreground="White" Width="Auto" MinWidth="74" Margin="23,8,11,9" /> <Button BorderBrush="{x:Null}" Content="new" FontFamily="Myriad Pro" FontSize="12" Foreground="White" RenderTransformOrigin="-0.243,0.516" Width="Auto" MinWidth="74" Margin="11,8,11,9"> <Button.Background> <SolidColorBrush Color="{DynamicResource Green}" /> </Button.Background> </Button> </StackPanel>

Font/letter spacing issue when printing from SSRS 2008 report page

We are developing reports in SSRS 2008.  When printing from the SSRS report page, we are seeing that that some text is "clumping" together or spaced oddly. I have tried a variety of printers so it's not printer-specific. If you export from the SSRS page to PDF or to Word and then print, everything prints as expected.

Nothing is as good as real text/names/data, but to reproduce, simply create several text boxes with...

I used several common fonts...
Arial, 10 pt (SSRS 2008 default)
Times New Roman, 12 pt (Office 2003 default)
Calibri, 11 pt (Office 2007 default)
Verdana, 11 pt
Tahoma, 11 pt

In the example above, I used normal weight, nothing fancy... If you use bold and underline, which is common for a page/column header or footer, this issue is even more apparent.

It feels similar to the following issue: https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/482312/ssrs-report-font-rendering-issue

A workaround would obviously be to export to PDF and then print, but these are steps that our end users shouldn't have to (and won't want to) put up with to produce reports/invoices/etc. that ultimately go

SSRS 2005 report export to excel - show text as number

When exports the report to excel, some columns are numbers(something like 00125987). We need these columns to be text,  but excel convert these columns in numbers and in result we received not "00125987" but "125987".

How to fix that?

We need all these columns to be text.

Font in pdf-export

I have a problem regarding fonts in pdf rendering in SSRS 2008.

I'm using Arial as font in my report, but when I open the pdf-document in Adobe Reader 9 and take a look in Properties/Fonts, Arial has turned into Helvetica and is no longer TrueType but Type 1. How can I get the pdf to show Arial instead of Helvetica?

Example from Adobe Reader:

when I use Arial:

   Type: Type 1
   Code: Ansi
   Current font: ArialMT
   Current font type: TrueType

when I use MicrosoftSansSerif instead:

   Type: TrueType
   Code: Ansi
   Current font: MicrosoftSansSerif
   Current font type: TrueType

I am using this version of SQL Server: Microsoft SQL Server Developer Edition,  10.0.1600.22
and OS:  Microsoft Windows NT 6.0 (6001)

When I look in windows/fonts on the server, I can see Arial as an "OpenType", but Helvetica is not even there...

Any suggestions as to where I could look further? Or even better, a solution? :)

Is it possible to change the title bar background and the font style on default template?

Is there any way to change the default top link /title bar picture and the fonts of the title without breaking anything in the layout/structure?

I have changed the theme to Obsedian and I would also like to change the picture of the title bar of this theme and also the font/style of the title, top link bar, menus..etc. Is there a way to do this?

Please note: I am using WSS 3.0 and I am not the Administrator of the sharepoint. I am only the site admin of some sites on this sharepoint. I can do some basic customization using SPD.

Basically, what I am trying to do is that I want to set up a sharepoint site, however I want to make it NOT look like a sharepoint site.Well I know this is possible, but for my case it might be just partially possible due to the limitation that I am not the Site collection admin and hence I do not have direct access to the server itself.

What I want is to hide most of the sharepoint links/menus/bars, etc and use my own buttons/hyperlinks etc .. for user to navigate on the sites.

Thanks in advance for your help/advices.

Trouble with Font Definition in Accordion Control

 VWD 2008 Express.

I have a page on which I have an accordion control.  The accordion control seems to be overriding the font definition I have for the page body in my CSS stylesheet.  Here is what is happening.  Can anyone help?  Thanks.

1.  When I open the page and the top panel opens, it displays with the correct font family, size, etc.

2.  If I close and reopen the top panel, it displays with another font family and looks bad.

3.  All subsequent panels, when opened, display the font in a different family than specified in my CSS stylesheet.

This is what I have in the stylesheet both for the body and for the .accordioncontent:

    background-color: #E4E1C2;
    background: url(../images/background.jpg) repeat left top;
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman" , Times, serif;
    color: #666666;
    font-size: 12pt;
    border-top: none;
    padding-top: 10px;
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman" , Times, serif;
    color: #666666;
    font-size: 12pt;

CSS font is working in FireFox but not in Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi All, I tried a lot but I could not figure out why the IE is not taking font size and name in to effect from CSS. In firefox my website could be seen very nice but in IE it is little bit unshiny and font size is bigger For the difference which I am talking about could be seen  if your PC have both firefox and IE installed. Please go to http://www.nymidtowndentistry.com open it in FF and IE and you could see the font and alignment related change. All these settings are in body element of CSS. Do you any idea regarding this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time. -Hitesh
