I have my projects in VS 2008 and is using .NET 3.5. I have been building the solution on Any CPU platform setting. I need to access an . INI file located in c:\Windows. It works fine when running on XP. Now I try to run the application on Windows
7, I have problem. It still tries to access the file in c:\Windows, while the real accessible file is redirected in a user based virtual store. I tried to build the solution on X86 platform and it still did the same thing. I wrote the similar code in VS 2005
using .NET 2.0 and it worked fine when building on X86 platform. I am wondering why the file virtualization is not working with .NET 3.5?
