I am trying to set up our RDWeb gateway server so that users don't have to enter a username and password before accessing a locked-down VDI. I'm controlling access to the web page at the firewall by IP range and certificate so I have security covered before they hit the page.
I don't know much about ASP.NET and our Web Admin left a few weeks ago so I need a bit of help.
When someone hits the site they are redirect to login.aspx if IsAuthenticated is not set. What I would like to do is have default.aspx (or somthing else) authenticate a standard username and then attach the credentials to the client session before it checks IsAuthenticated. (or something to that effect). :/
The path is Windows\Web\Rdweb\Pages\En-US. There is a web.config in rdweb, a web.config and default.aspx in pages (handles culture) and web.config, default.aspx and login.aspx in EN-US.
If this is possible can someone show me what code might work and where would I put it?
Thanks in Advance!
