Good day all
I have a simple request. I have created a InfoPath form which I have published to SharePoint (all is well)
I have created a workflow using SharePoint Desinder and this workflow send off an email to a user , I have pasted the link to the document library in the email but would like the user to open the form from their email and not go to the document library
Can somebody please advise
Laurie
I have a a list that recieves email. I have few fields that shows me the originator: "E-Mail From" and "E-Mail Sender".
I am trying to create a workflow that will generate an auto reply to the originator but the SPD fails to recognize the email address in these two fields. It's either truncating part of it or uses the html ( href=mailto:Demo@DemoSomething.com) in the To field.
Thank you, Tzach.
In SharePoint 2007 Designer, I have used the Hyperlink column to store the link "http://www.sharepoint.com/Default.aspx, Details". The details text will be shown in the Hyperlink column. Everything works fine in sharepoint 2007 Designer workflow.
In SharePoint Designer 2010 Workflow, I used the same method but the hyperlink column is displaying the full text "http://www.sharepoint.com/Default.aspx, Details" instead of only Details
I created a SPD workflow on a task list in SharePoint Server 2010.
The workflow generates an e-mail to the "Assigned To" user. When configuring the To in the e-mail, I simply references the "Assigned To" value in the list. Is that good enough? Will it find their e-mail?
Also, what if the Assigned To allows for multiple values?
Hi,
I want to add two columns from an existing form library into "Collect data from user" action rather than adding a new column so that when the approver opens the "Collect data from user" content type, he should be able to see those two column values from existing form library in to that "Collect data from user" content type only. Is that possible?
Thank you.
Hi all,
I created a workflow in designer attached to a form library. I also have a custom list "Admins" containing names of persons that serves a different purpose but would also like to be used as recipients for the workflow email everytime a new item in the form library is created.
I have been searching the net and tried out few work arounds but so far able to send to only one person in the "Admins" list. The list has a column "Admin Name" which is of type "Person or Group".
Thanks in advance!

To complete this task: 1. Review SharePoint2010. 2. Perform the specific activities required for this task. 3. Use the Open this task button to mark the task as completed. (If you cannot update this task, you might not have access to it.)
But I need to go to Workflow Task List by clicking 3 item "Use the Open this Task" , this is not a link here
or I want like "Edit this task to mark the task as completed." Edit this task should link to Task List
How to do this? do i missing any configuration?
I have successfully done the same in MOSS 2007. Is there any extra&n
I have a SPD Workflow that I now want to import into Visual Studio 2010. I believe that the workflow has to be reuseable before I can do this is that correct?
Has anyone ever converted a SPD workflow into a VS 2010 workflow?
Thanks
