Merge Practices

Posted By:      Posted Date: October 07, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server

I'm currently replicating using merge over the web.  I am curious what the best practice is in terms of publications to instances of SQL Server.  Is it common to deploy 1 publication per instance or is it common to include multiple publications on an instance?  I know this depends on available resources but I ask this question from a business rule perspective.  If you have multiple publications, all for separate clients, what is the best practice?  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
