Hi, I have two tables which is Customer and Customer Details table, with one to many details.
Is there possible to show Child table's column in (done in one GridView) Customers/Lisp.aspx?
I have a aspx page where i have designed the controls as per the need.Now my requirement is as soon as user click on 'New' of the List,i am expecting to aspx page to come as Newform.aspx of the list.Could you please share your ideas regarding this?
Thanks & Regards,
I need to provision a custom aspx with webparts on the page with site definition,
I added follwing code to element.xml
<Module Name="x" Url="Pages" Path="Pages">
<File Url="x.aspx" Path="page.aspx" Type="GhostableInLibrary"/>
but it did not work and error says could not complete the action.
I want to include a custom .aspx page with code behind in sharepoint 2010. This aspx page is supposed to take data
from custom list and generate an xml. So the output is xml. Our site is an internet facing site and it is anonymous
access. Some swf files are using this aspx page to get dynamic data from list in xml format. When flash is trying
to get xml from this page sharepoint first redirects to login page.
I need help from you guys, since I am new in sharepoint I got really struck here.
Thanks in advance,
I have created as custom task edit browser enabled Infopath form which successfully gets open when user clicks on Edit task. But by default it opens up in the
WrkTaskIP.aspx page which is available in 12 hive..Layouts folder.
Now the default WrkTaskIP form provides two following options as hyperlinks 1. Delete item, and 2. A link to navigate to the task display form
I want to customize the OOB, WrkTaskIP page and associate that with my workflow.
How exactly can i achieve this ?
P.S: I have refered
this link , but that does not specify clearly where exaclty to associate that custom page in the workflow and how.
I am trying to use sharepoint SPCalendarView in my hand-written page. Calendar's grid displays empty cells with dates only without events. Calendar doesn't react on user's actions.
<SharePoint:SPCalendarView runat="server" ListName="IWCalendar" EnableViewState="true"></SharePoint:SPCalendarView>
I've referenced all required assemblies:
<%@ Register Tagprefix="SharePoint"
I need to add custom action to actions menu of document library when user is in "content and structure" and can multiselect items from doclib. (doc lib is active in left side)
Any ideas how to add that?
By default the Action menu contains items copy,move,delete|checkout,discard checkout, checkin,publish,unpublish
Other option would be to add multiselect support to doc libraries.
Thanks for the ideas in advance,
I've a question regarding the MulitpleLookField. I want a field of this type include in my custom aspx page which should create a new list item, but I get the error:
Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
<td class="ms-formbody"><SharePoint:MultipleLookupField ID="control" runat="server" ControlMode="New" /></td>
public class myClass : LayoutsPageBase
protected MultipleLookupField control;
protected override void OnPageLoad()
using(SPSite site = SPContext.Current.Site)
using(SPWeb web = site.Rootweb)
SPList list = web.Lists["Produkte"];
control.ListId = list.ID;
control.FieldName = InternalNames.aehnlichekoppelbarePro
Here's what I'm trying to achieve. I got a url field in my list which contains a link to a custom aspx page I've created earlier. I've added the "&IsDlg=1" property to my url and I want to page to be opened as a modal dialog. However the page
opens full window and not as a dialog at all.
I have created a document library and uploading files in it.
when i click on any document it is opened at client side for example in sharepoint designer.
I want to redirect to a custom aspx page when user clicks on any document rather than opening at client side.
Is it possible?
I am getting the following error while I am trying to attach the master page to the custom form
An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: The virtual path '/_catalogs/masterpage/default.master' maps to another application, which is not allowed.
Actually I am developing the association form in the custom work flow , I am calling the master on the On PreINt event of the page
My organization uses a CMD file to install updated files for a major enterprise application. Currently, we send out an email to users with a link to the file and instructions to run it, BUT inevitably users don't update their machines until their in field and try to start the app.
We're now liking the idea of using an ASPX page to prompt the users to run the updates and to capture the fact that the updates have been run. I realize that we can't capture the success or failure of the update. But we'd like to capture the user accessed the page.
Is it possible to embed into the markup for the page a link to the file on the local intranet that the users can click on to run the file?
The user accessing the page would capture that they did just that. We'd deal with wether or not the update was actually installed or if it failed later with them directly.
