We’re using VS 2010 (.NET 4.0) and I managed to get WSE 3.0 add-in my VS. After I generated my .NET proxy client using ‘Add Web
Reference’ in VS, I need to edit my auto-generated proxy class to derive from WebServicesClientProtocol instead of SoapHttpClientProtocol (default) so that I can pass UsernameToken for the message security programmatically in the code.
VS 2010 isn’t generating reference.cs (at least that’s what appears to me) for the proxy class. So, I’m hard time figuring
out how can I edit my auto-generated .NET proxy class in VS 2010 to derive from WebServicesClientProtocol? In fact, I cannot see the auto-generate proxy class. In the code when I right click on my proxy client object and choose go to definition, it takes
me to the metadata which of course I cannot modify. I cannot see the proxy class that I can open and edit it.
