I have a document library with many nested folders. Each folder has unique permissions. Is there a way to get a report of all permissions assigned to this document libary/folders?

Thanks and Regards,
A view of a document library has a setting under Folders area if the files should be shown in their respective folder or just a flat list of file. If "Show all items withtout folders" is selected, following is my observation:
- Saving the document library as a template and creating new libraries from this template takes this setting into the new library as expected
- Saving the site as a template and creating a new site from template removes this setting from the existing document libraries in newly created sites. If a new document library is created from the document library template, the setting is ON as expected.
This seems to be related to what being discussed here
has anyone worked out how to do different views in Folders inside a document library ?
When I set up a document library in SharePoint 2007 (with versioning), I want to upload files with the same file name, but in different folders. I want each of the the files to have it's own version history. The files must remain distinct, as they are entirely
different files with their own context in a folder hierarch.
Can I do this? How?
You can probably tell I am brand new to using SharePoint.
Issue Description : Keywords from certain folders in the Document Library is not searchable via full text search. For example, the keyword
“4MB7106” is not searchable, even though the document is available in the document library. This is content search in a file in a document library, NOT a file name. Any ideas?
There is a library (SharePoint Server 2007)
There are many files in this library (with personal permissions).
QUESTION: How to obtain the list of these files with their permissions.
We have a WSS 2.0 Server (in Farm mode with SQL backend). About 6 months ago, a user moved a lot of folders around within a Document Library (doing a bit of a cleanup).
Since then, most folders in the library cannot be seen, either through web browser or Explorer view. They simply don't appear (as though they've been deleted).
However, if we search for a file it will appear in search, and the URL/path to the file is in the folders that cannot be seen (or seemingly don't exist). You can then view the file as normal if you click the link from the search results.
If we remove the file name from the URL we can then browse the folder that it resides in, however once we get up to the top level folder in the D/L, we get a 404.
Eg: Browsing we see:
Shared Documents/Folder one
Shared Documents/Folder two
If we search we see links to:
Shared Documents/Folder five/Quotes/Australia/quote1.doc (we can then view & download this file fine).
We can then enter the URL to "Shared Documents/Folder five/Quotes/Australia/" in browser and view all files in the Australia folder. If we click 'Up' we can even view the contents of the 'Quotes' folder, but then we hit 'Up' again to get to Folder Five,
we get a 404!
This is the most bizarre of all WSS problems I've seen, a
