I got this problem when I tried to migrate one of my web deployment project from vs2005 to vs2010 on windows 7 machine. The exactly error message is like this: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.BatchParser' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.(description) ASPNETCOMPILER(file), myWebDeploy (project) I have installed all of suggested feature packs as suggested by others: SQLServer2005_ADOMD_x64.msi, SQLServer2005_XMO_x64.msi. Can somebody please help? Thanks a lot

Dear ASP.NET I keep getting this strange error (below) on my local machine on the first time the page loads, Then if I reload it - it loads correctly... Hi,I use sql clr sp's to load data in to database using .net framework 2.0. I never had aproblem using this and it went well for months.I recently updated to net framework 3.5 sp1 and sqlserver sp3 on 32-bit sql server and win 2003.I am facing an error which i could not resolve.Error:System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.AnalysisServices, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. Assembly in host store has a different signature than assembly in GAC. We recently upgraded from .NET 1.1 to .NET 3.5. The project was running fine until yesterday when I tried to create a set up project. Hi I have a clickonce deployed application in my machine. When I tried to load the application, 90% of the application window is getting loaded but finally, I get the following error: Could not load file or assembly '0 bytes loaded from System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. I have read somewhere that this error could be caused when something goes wrong with the .net framework in the machine. My machine is having .Net framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5. So which framework should I reinstall? The application is developed using .net 2.0. Also, please let me know how the application is partially loading(90%) if the framework is corrupted.? Regards Anoop.

I've seen several posts on this forum about this issue, and several have been resolved, but I'm not seeing the answer.

On my Windows 7 machine with SQL Server 2008 R2, I have a Visual Studio 2010 project that uses SQL SMO.

The app runs fine on my machine, but when I publish to another server, I get Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.BatchParserClient'

If I go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=C6C3E9EF-BA29-4A43-8D69-A2BED18FE73C&displaylang=en

and install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Native Client , Microsoft SQL Server System CLR Types , and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Management Objects I stop getting the error.

It seems to me that I should just be able to properly reference what I need and deploy my project...

So- how do I deploy my project without needing these installs?
