I am trying to figure out the best design approach. I have a WPF application using C# and I am setting up a canvas in the window. I would like to draw a grid on the canvas with lines and a button to make it visible and not visible. I also later want to draw
images into these grids. My questions are:
1) I will use a drawing cotext to draw the lines for the grid. Should I use code behind (using a for loop) or XAML to draw these lines.
2) If I use XAML to draw the lines can I create a seperate XAML to do this? Would this also include a code behind file or is that just for windows.
3) Is there a performance issue between using code or XAML to draw images?
4) Can I create mutiple canvases in the same area and only make one visible at a time using commands?
I know this question is fairly general but any pointers would be welcome.
