Hi, I've got some strange behaviour that I can't explain. I'm following very simple tutorials on CAS. I made this assembly that accesses the file system. Now I run caspol -resolveperm c:\myassembly.exe and I see I have full access. Next, I run caspol -resolveperm
\\mycomputer\c$\myassembly.exe and I see my assembly doesn't have full access and certainly not FileIOPermission or whatever it is called.
So I would think that if I ran c:\myassembly.exe I would not get an error; and when I run
\\mycomputer\c$\myassembly.exe I would get a System.Security.SecurityException or something. (please tell me if I am not grasping these basic simple concepts)
But no! when I run \\mycomputer\c$\myassembly.exe it just works! The file is changed. Why? Why?
Thanks in advance
