I've tried custom effects in WPFÃÂ withÃÂ .NET 3.5 SP1. It's amazing feature!
ButÃÂ I tried to compile my pixel shader with ps_3_0 profile and then WPF application throws exception.
So, if I have graphics card with support ps_2_0, ps_3_0 and evenÃÂ ps_4_0, can I use pixel shader profile 3_0 or it's impossible today in WPF? If it's impossible - why? and will WPF dev team provide ps_3_0 support in future releases?
