        XmlNamespaceManager nsManager = new XmlNamespaceManager(nodelistitems.OwnerDocument.NameTable);
        nsManager.AddNamespace("z", "#RowsetSchema");

I created an external content type in SPD 2010.  I then created an external listing using this external content type.  When I open the Read List view, I get the following error message:

Hi, We are trying to migrate a console program (C#) from MOSS 2007 to SP 2010. Trying to build the program (Visual Studio 2008) results in this error message: "The type or namespace name 'Portal' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.SharePoint' (are you missing an assembly reference?)" Then we tryed adding a reference for Microsoft.SharePoint.portal - but this class is not available in the dialog box 'Add reference'. Can anyone help - please.

The Type or namespace 'Sharepoint' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft'

Development Environment is VS2010 Project .Net Version 4 Sharepoint 2007 Sharepoint installation is not on my Development PC but a seperate server I have copied the Sharepoint DLLS to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\ISAPI which is suggested in one link. I used import/export wizard to export the data another SQL Instance running on the same machine.

Once I done, started to detach and attach process on the Sharepoint 2010.

I successfully attached to Sharepoint 2010 SQL Server.

When I am adding the addcontentdb using STSADM i got this erro

Please help me to resolve ASAP.

"Microsoft.SharePoint Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))"

I am adding an item to a list programatically. The credential under which the code runs has contribute permission to list. When the code is executed, it adds the item to the list with below exception. I guess, after adding the item to the list it calls SetListProps method where it throws exception. Any one can help why it is? Because of this my code is not moving ahead as it breaks here because of this exception

Microsoft.SharePoint Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPGlobal.HandleUnauthorizedAccessException(UnauthorizedAccessException ex) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.SetListProps(String bstrUrl, String bstrListName, Boolean bMigrate) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPList.Update(Boolean bFromMigration) at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPList.Update()

However, if I give full control it works fine.

Also, with the same credential, a new item can be added to the list with out any issue from the front end.

Thanks you
