Hi! I want to display a crystal report in my vb.net application. Suppose I have tables named student details, student
marks, student address, etc... Now
if I want to display all these details (fields of all tables)
in one crystal report (with page breaks if necessary) then how will I
achieve it. I will be providing a combo box in my application that contains list of student names.
How can I link this combo box with the cystal report to
dynamically display report for different student on selected index
change of combo box? Help me friends. An example would be appreciable.

I have this label but I want my text to contain a link, the word "all" I want to be a link so that it looks like "Match all of the following criteria..." you know with the all underlined representing a link.....
I have a text input to get a 'roomID' and an ASP button that calls an 'enterRoom' function:
roomID:<asp:TextBox runat="server" ID="roomID"></asp:TextBox>
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Enter Room!" OnClick="enterRoom" />
Sub enterRoom(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
Server.Transfer("users/room.aspx?roomID=" & Request.Form("roomID"))
One of the user got My owa link in place of my site on the my home page ( go to my site --> my home --> top right corner shows My owa insead of my site ) and he wants to edit that my owa link now. first of all i dont know how he got that
My owa link in the place of my site on my home page. When he surfs any other page than he is getting my site on all other pages. so he is just getting My owa link in place of my site only on the my home page.
At the first glanse, i think it would be master page issue but if that would be the case than it shold apply all the users but this is happening just for one user and we are not using custom master page.
I have a infopath 2007 browser enabled form with c# code behind . The Infopath form is embeded\hosted in to a custom layouts page (.aspx) on MOSS 2007. The issue is when users use keyboard to fill the form, they often use <TAB> &
<Enter> keys. So when they are using the tabbing at one location in the form, I have a "Contact selector" field, I enter a name & then hit <TAB> key the focus now comes to "name cheker" I then hit <Enter> key, I hit <TAB> again,
the focus now comes to a button named "Accept", I hit <Enter> key & a filed below is populated with the values from user profile service. Now when I hit <TAB> I expect the focus should now come to that automatically populated field below the
"Contact selctor". Because Infopath assings the tab order by default form top to bottom & left to right and I havent changed that default tab order.
But, the focus moves to top of the webpage with a clickable link to "Turn on more accessible mode" I hit tab one more time & the link on top changes to "Skip to main content". This bheaviour does not seem to be happning in other form controls when they
hit <Tab>, <Enter>. There are couple of areas on the infopath form where I have such a controls (layed ou
We have WSS3. I am a site collection admin. The SP server is at remote location at our vendor.
I can link from MS Access to all the cusom lists - lists created by users.
I can not link from MS Access to the admin lists, for example the Site Hierarchy list. This is https://mysite.com/_layouts/vsubwebs.aspx
I know this is a LIST. It has columns Site URL, Title, etc.
I need Read only access. How can I do it?
I have a document library with the standard name column linking to the document. However, we'd like to create a custom field and have that link to the document (and edit item menu).
How is this best accomplished?
Thanks in advance!
We're running two MOSS 2007 environments that are (should be!) identical for Development and Validation. We don't have Production set up yet to compare...
In DEV, when you go to the Site Settings > View All Site Settings > People and Groups > Groups, you see a "1 - 100 >" link at the top right to page to the next 100 groups. In VAL, we do not see that link even though we have more than 100
Groups (the list ends on the first page with the letter "l").
Everything we have looked at between the two systems looks identical, has anyone seen something similar and has a fix? At this point we're waiting until we get the PRD environment set up to compare because we're stumped. Any help would be appreciated,
I had this working. I would email a link to a page (i.e. Work.aspx), and using the code below, the user would be routed to the login page and then sent to Work.aspx after logging in.
But since I added a site map this isn't working. I always go directly to my home page. If I set Work.aspx as my start page in VS it works, but not if I click a link in the email.
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
Response.Redirect("~/Login.aspx" + "?ReturnUrl=~/Work.aspx");
Is There any one know how to link document library folder is to external site
I have created an Infopath 2007 form and published it to Sharepoint 2007.
1. I can add "attachements" to the form, but the function can handle only one attachement per link. If i need to add 10 attachements, i have to create 10 attachement functions to the form.
Is it possible to create one attachement function in the Infopath form, that is able to save several attachements under it?
2. Is it possible to save .exe, .msi and similar files to the form as attachements? Sharepoint says security settings prohibit this.
3. How can i add a link that shows up as MS Office Communicator link in the form? For example: John Smith in Office communicator is now Online. I want his name and his status to show also in the Infopath form, when somebody opens it in Sharepoint.
I have a list in which it is possible for one item to be related to another list item in the same list. I am trying make a column in the list which would contain a hyperlink to the related list item. The primary column is called Bill Number,
and the secondary column is Companion Bill Number . The Companion Bill Number is the one I want to be a hyperlink to the list time in which that number is the primary Bill Number. (hope that made sense!).
I thought I could create a hypertext link out of the Companion Bill Number dynamically in a workflow action that runs on item creation. I tried this by using the string builder to create a string for the hypertext link that I set to a workflow variable.
It looks like this <a href="listURL.aspx?ID=[%Bill:CompanionBill%]">[%Bill:CompanionBill%]. Then in another action in the same workflow I tried to set the CompanionBill column to the variable value.
What I ended up with was, instead of the number as a hyperlink, the text in the column reads as [%Bill:CompanionBill%]. I'm thinking this is failing because of the workflow process doesn't have the value of CompanionBill at the time I am asking it
to set the variable value.
Any ideas on how I might make this dynamic link creation work?
