I've recently set up Server 2008 and, even though my account is in the Administrators group, and in the local policy the "Debug programs" includes admins, I cannot debug from VS - I get:
"Unable to start T-SQL Debugging. Could not connect to computer 'XXX'. Visual Studio has insufficient privileges to debug this process. To debug this process, Visual Studio must be run as an administrator"
Not surprisingly, if I run VS as admin I can debug, but I cannot do it from my account (yes, it belongs to the 'sysadmin' role in SS). The SQL Server is also running under my account and what I'm trying to debug is a CLR.
I've googled till I'm blue in the face. Ideas anyone?
thx - e
