We have an environment with 3 failover clustered SQL Server 2008 64 Ent. instances.
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SP1) - 10.0.2757.0 (X64) Jan 8 2010 19:55:08 Copyright (c) 1988-2008 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.0 <X64> (Build 6002: Service Pack 2)
We recieved the same alarm on all three instances.
When the syspolicy_purge_history job runs it errors on the Erase Phantom System Health Records step.
2010-09-30 10:34:59 - ! [LOG] Step 3 of job 'syspolicy_purge_history' (0x3C83482CE3064C40BDE35AD24263DCC5) cannot be run because the PowerShell subsystem failed to load. The job has been suspended.
I have recreated the job according to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955726 but I still get the same error.
Latest changes on the clusters was Windows security patches, KB981322 & KB2347290.
We recieved the error after the patches were applied and servers restarted. Could that cause the error?
Have you experienced the same thing or do you have a solution?
