Why Microsoft Ajax Minifier dosen't minfi the file when used with team build 2010?

I just used the wonderful tool Microsoft Ajax Minifier and it's working very well when I build my MVC application on my machine but when I check-in in source control and started build by the Team Build 2010 it doesn't create the min files, for sure I can't put the mini files inside the source control as the recommendation from the Microsoft Ajax Minifier because it's like the dll it's generated every time you build your application so no need to put it in source control beside it can't be because you  will need always to check-out this file to build and this will prevent other from build using the team build, so what I need to do to make generate the mini file with team build 2010????

Microsoft Ajax Minifier "family" - which one to use?

Does anyone have suggestions for using Sharepoint 2010 to implement Microsoft Project 2010 Plans?

I'm looking for ways to manage resources on a project plan (mpp files) that are created in Project 2010 and publish that through Sharepoint 2010.

I want the "link to outlook" interface to work

I want to be able to assign tasks and have them be modified by the owner (linked to active directory)

I want task owners to be able to update their own tasks and create new ones.

I want all users to be "alerted" when tasks are created/modified (force the subscription to their own tasks)

Seems like it should be easy, but it aint.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Microsoft AJAX CDN

Content delivery networks (CDNs) are composed of "edge cache" servers that are strategically placed around the world at key Internet network points. These "edge cache" servers can be used to cache and deliver all types of content - including images, videos, CSS and JavaScript files.

Using a CDN can significantly improve a website's end-user performance, since it enables browsers to more quickly retrieve and download content. For example, instead of having a browser request for an image traverse all the way across the Internet to your web server to download, a CDN can instead serve the request directly from a nearby "edge cache" server that might only be a single network hop away from your customer (making it return much faster - which makes your pages load quicker).

Microsoft .NET: Implement a Custom Common Language Runtime Host for Your Managed App

While most application developers may not need to write a custom host, understanding what is involved provides a great deal of insight into the architecture of the CLR. After covering how the CLR is started and loaded into a process, how to set the available configuration options, and how a host defines application domains, this article explains how to design a custom host. Important concepts include making the right decisions about the application domain boundaries for the host, configuring them correctly, loading and executing user code, and resolving references to assemblies. Setting security policy and unloading application domains as the application shuts down are also explained.

Configure My Site for Microsoft Office Pop up

I saw this on another post, but it still doesn't seem to have been resolved.

How do you disable this pop-up that reads

"Microsoft Office can remember your My Site to synchronize documents stored here in Outlook and to show it when opening and saving files. Do you want Office to remember this site (http://xxx/)? Only select 'yes' if you trust this site."

It stops appearing on certain pages, but for example this appears every time you click 'Add Colleagues' link in Colleagues.

Any help?

Separate sessions in browser tabs together with an ajax enabled web site

I want my tabs in my browser to have separate sessions. I  was told to use

<sessionState mode="InProc" cookieless="UseUri"></sessionState> in web.config

but when I read about it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/h6bb9cz9(v=VS.100).aspx

the text says "When you configure an AJAX-enabled ASP.NET Web site, use only the default value of UseCookies for the cookieless attribute. Settings that use cookies encoded in the URL are not supported by the ASP.NET AJAX client script libraries."

I'm using Ajax so are there any ideas what I can do about this problem.

Site File Structure, Folders, Learning project, subweb, web.config

I am just learning asp.net.  I purchased an "ASP.Net 3.5 web programming in C#" book, which I like allot.  I am on chapter 3 and want to complete a shopping cart exercise from the book.  I have to create several folders and files.  The exercise has the files and under the root directory and a few folders below that.  I already have a site that I've been learning on.  Can I create a subfolder on my site and put all the files in there?  Like the subfolder is the root of the project.   Here is list of Folders and files... Code/CartItem.cs Code/Product.cs Data/Cars.mdb Images/car.jpg Cart.aspx Order.aspx Web.config ................................ On my website I want to create a subfolder to keep alll the files in, as so... ShoppingCart/Code/CartItem.cs ShoppingCart/Code/Product.cs ShoppingCart/Data/Cars.mdb ShoppingCart/Images/car.jpg ShoppingCart/Cart.aspx ShoppingCart/Order.aspx ShoppingCart/Web.config ................................ Can I have two web.cong files?, one in the subfolder?  Or do I have to use the single, web.config file in the root directory of the site?  Are there any other pitfalls or trouble I might get into setting up my file structure like this?  Anything I should be aware of? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

calling a web service on a remote server from a ASPX page (web site project VS2005)

HI,I am maintaining a web site project in VS2005 and have to call a new web service on a remote server. I've done add web reference, and created the .wsdl and .discomap files in the app_webReference folder.  When I try to create a object representing the web service in the code ( wsnamespace.serviceName ws = new wsnamespce.serviceName(); ) the code wouldn't compile. The web site project is already calling other web services. When I right click on the type representing the web service and "go to definition" it takes me to a proxy class (derived from of course SoapHttpClientProtocol) in the metadata. I think this is what's missing for  the new web service i'm trying to call. Have I missed any steps? Thanks in advance.-me

Can I deploy a custom site page from the VS2010 SharePoint project?

Hi We're setting up some demos of our sharepoint plugins and want to easily deploy these into sharepoint so that all members of the company can easily get the demos running on their own machines. This is fine for layouts, web parts and so on - but the demo also has a customised sharepoint home page (which I edited in SP Designer) - how do I make this edited home page part of the VS2010 project so that it can be deployed easily to any site collection?   Thanks

displaying microsoft project tasks in dashboards?

I understand that you can have task lists created in SharePoint and have them display on a dashboard with something like % complete, etc.  However, we have a client that has many different projects they manage that each have their own Microsoft Project file.  They want to know when the milestones on the project are due and what the % complete is based off of the contents of the project file.  Is there a way to pull this info from the project files and have it display in a dashboard or some other format?  We don't want to have to manually enter the tasks in SharePoint - it should be automated. Thanks, Robert

Can't add ASPNETDB.MDF to ASP.NET 4 Web Site project [SQL Server 2008 R2 Express]

I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2 Express and try to add ASPNETDB.mdf database to my web site project. However, the following message appears: "Connections to SQL Server database files (.mdf) require SQL Server 2005 Express or SQL Server 2008 Express to be installed and running on the local computer. The current version of SQL Server Express can be downloaded at the following URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=125883". In spite of this message, however, database appears in App_Data folder. What is wrong?
