I'd like to extend my MVC2 project with a new AJAX insertion mode.
The InsertionMode.Replace only replaces the contents of an element (innerHTML), but at certain areas I'd want the whole element to be replaced. Like when I'm filling up a table with additional rows of data via AJAX, I can't just put one row inside of another else the layout will break.
I've rewritten the original Replace in the MicrosoftMvcAjax JacaScript file, but I'd rather keep everything as it was originally made and extend that.
Does anyone have an idea how I should go about adding a ReplaceDOM option?
