I'm working with a 3rd party application which requires running SQL Server 2008 Express on a Windows 2008 terminal server. Their installation instructions appear to put the installation of the applications in the following sequence:
- Configure the server for Remote Desktop Services.
- Install SQL Server 2008.
- Install the 3rd party application.
Having never worked with SQL Server in this type of environment, I'm just look for some confirmation that this is the right order of installation. Also, is there anything known about any potential issues in this type of environment? The server will be accessed
internally only, so I'm not so much concerned about security issues but more about making sure the application runs reliably.
